All items are sold as is, where is. All sales are final. We make no warranty or guarantee, either expressed or implied, regarding any item sold. We urge all bidders to examine items prior to placing a bid. Bidding indicates satisfaction with the condition, age, origin, etc., of the item being bid upon. Preview for many items to be auctioned is available at our gallery location between 10 and 5 daily. Call to see if item(s) you are interested in are available for viewing. Items always available for preview the afternoon prior to auction. Payment must be made on day of auction and before item(s) are released to buyer. Payment must be by Visa or Mastercard for online purchases. A buyer's premium of 15% will be added to the hammer price of each item sold. Sales tax of 9% will be collected on all purchases by residents of Alabama unless an appropriate re-seller certificate has been provided the auction company in advance of the auction. The auctioneer has sole power to determine the winning bidder in case of "tie" bids or other disputes. The auctioneer may refuse to accept any bid. The auctioneer may pass/withdraw any item for which he deems the high bid unreasonably low or he may bid in behalf of the seller to attempt to advance bidding to a reasonable level for selling a lot. Announcements at the auction have precedence over all others. Furniture and other large items WILL NOT be packed or shipped by the auction company and must either be picked up or buyer must have made own arrangements for pickup, packing and shipping by no later than 10 business days following the auction, otherwise ownership will pass to auction company for storage/handling fees. Gilbert and Company, LLC will pack and ship smalls if the winning bidder cannot pickup items won. There will be a $3.00 packing fee for each parcel shipped (we will combine where feasible), plus the actual cost of insurance and shipping. Insurance is mandatory.
