Item Details
In extremely fine original condition. Ricasso is maker stamped "W. Clauberg Solingen". Leather wire wrapped grip exhibits only moderate wear. Brass handle fittings exhibit age patina. Regulation type plain blade with wide double sided wide blood groove. Steel scabbard exhibits some dents and finish loss and blade inserts and removes smoothly. Many of the finest Civil War presentation sword blades originated from Clauberg.
