***SHIPPING*****
ZBB INC ASSUMES ALL PURCHASES VIA PROXIBID WILL BE IN NEED OF PACKAGING AND SHIPMENT. WE BEGIN PACKAGING THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY FOLLOWING THE AUCTION. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER TO ARRANGE A PICKUP OR MEET WITH THE AUCTION FIRM IF SHIPPING IS NOT DESIRED. PLEASE DO NOT WAIT DAYS TO NOTIFY US NOT TO PACKAGE AND SHIP AN ITEM AS YOU RUN THE HIGH RISK OF HAVING YOUR PACKAGE SHIPPED AND YOU BEING CHARGED SHIPPING AND HANDLING ANYWAY. WE WILL NOT REFUND SHIPPING AND HANDLING FOR SOMEONE CONTACTING THE FIRM REQUESTING US TO HOLD AN ITEM AFTER IT HAS BEEN PACKAGED. ALL OF THIS IS AN EFFORT FOR BUYERS TO RECEIVE THEIR GOODS AS QUICKLY AND EFFICIENTLY AS POSSIBLE, WE THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION.
BUYERS WHO DO NOT OR CANNOT TAKE POSSESSION OF THE ITEM THEY PURCHASE: If a bidder is unable to receive an item purchased because he/she is denied transfer of a firearm under legal restriction, or is unable to successfully arrange export or import of an international purchase, or for any other reason not solely the Auction Company’s fault, the buyer is still responsible for payment in full to the Auction Company for the hammer price plus applicable buyer's premium & additional expenses. The buyer may request shipment at the buyer's expense to an FFL dealer to resell a gun on the buyer's behalf. If buyer does not notify Auction Company of such arrangements within 10 days of the auction date, Auction Company may resell the lot at a future auction, charging the buyer a 30% seller’s commission for doing so.
TAKING POSSESSION OF YOUR FIREARM: Anyone who purchases a firearm from ZBB Inc and is not already a licensed FFL holder will undergo NICS check to ensure you can take transfer of the item. Buyers wanting shipment may choose their FFL dealer and have it shipped to them. If the individual purchasing the firearm is NOT the FFL dealer, the dealer must provide a shipping address to have the item sent to, as well as the name of the individual who they will be transferring the item to. If your firearm falls under the C&R classification, please provide us with proper documentation that you are a collector of such items via email. Please email all FFL's and C&R's to zeb@zebsauctions.com ASAP after purchasing a firearm in an auction.
$20 transfer per firearm with a max of $60. If you buy three, or 13 firearms, it's $60 in transfer fees.
If you are having a long gun shipped, expect no less than $35 per box in shipping. Final price depends on weight and destination.
NONTRANSFER OF FIREARM: Any firearm that is made prior to 1898 AND does not fire modern ammunition is considered an antique and does not require a background check and/or transfer. If the auction company does not disclose on a specific item that said item does not require a transfer, and the buyer believes that it does NOT require a transfer, it is the responsibility of the BUYER to provide the auction firm with documented proof that the item 1) is made prior to 1898 and 2) does not fire modern ammunition. If each of those items are not met, the firearm will undergo a NICS transfer, absolutely NO exceptions.
AS MANY OF YOU KNOW, FIREARMS ARE A SENSITIVE SUBJECT, AND WE APPRECIATE EVERYONES COOPERATION TO KEEP ALL TRANSACTIONS 100% LEGAL AND IN ACCORDANCE TO ALL RESTRICTIONS AND REGULATIONS SET FORTH BY THE BUREAU OF ALCOHOL, TOBACCO, AND FIREARMS.
