Attributed to Aust, Bethabara, North Carolina, circa 1750 (Museum Reproduction, 1985). This piece is a 1985 museum-quality reproduction crafted in the style of early Moravian redware by noted interpreter and potter Mary Spellmire. Based on forms and decoration linked to potter Gottfried Aust of the Bethabara settlement in colonial North Carolina. Rim shows minor chipping and edge wear. No cracks or repairs. For decorative use only.
