Spider-Man (2002) Junior Hoopstars Coach's Jacket and Hat (Bridge Rescue Scene) - Offered here is a rare screen-used Junior Hoopstars Coach's Jacket and Hat from Sam Raimi's Spider-Man (2002), worn during one of the film's most iconic and emotionally charged moments, the bridge rescue scene. In this pivotal sequence, the Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe) forces Spider-Man (Tobey Maguire) to make an impossible choice: save Mary Jane (Kirsten Dunst) or a cable car full of children dangling precariously from the Queensboro Bridge. This particular coach's jacket, size XL, is a classic burgundy and gold windbreaker with a snap-button front, lightweight nylon shell, and elastic cuffs. Notably, the word "Coach" is handwritten on the interior label, identifying it as part of the wardrobe worn by the adult coach seen aboard the cable car with the children, all clad in matching Junior Hoopstars gear. The jacket is paired with a matching burgundy baseball cap, rounding out the uniform. These items were worn by background performers portraying the coach and young basketball players from the fictional "Junior Hoopstars" team, anchoring the scene in a realistic, everyday setting that makes the Green Goblin's threat all the more chilling. This costume helped sell the stakes and humanity of one of the most memorable moral dilemmas in superhero cinema. A truly special piece for collectors of superhero film memorabilia, this lot offers a direct connection to one of Spider-Man's most unforgettable sequences, and a turning point in Peter Parker's journey as a hero. Provenance: The costume was acquired from Star Wares of Los Angeles. Includes: Letter of Provenance. Shipping Note: This item is located in Florida. Shipping will be at the expense of the buyer.
