Item Details
The crane and hydraulics alone are valued at over $6000. Crane reach is 16 to 30 feet and it will lift 4 tons maximum. Operated via a hydraulic bank of levers, with hydraulic outriggers to stabilize the truck when under load. The Fassi F40 Series Knuckle boom crane features a cast iron base and lower column section for stress distribution and greater resistance. The absence of welds in the design achieves long term product life and less failure to fatigue thru normal crane usage. The cranes feature standard boom wear pads specifically designed and implemented through the “forced” assembly process providing greater durability and service, allowing for fewer scheduled greasing requirements. Standard non-corrosive plastic tank ensures long term crane operation by limiting contaminants in the hydraulic system.
The UD 2600 has a Gross Vehicle Weight of 25,995 lbs. and has been extremely reliable. This vehicle spent most of its life in use by crews working for Caltrans placing barriers between the lanes on the freeway.

15% BUYER`S PREMIUM WILL APPLY TO ALL PURCHASES. Santa Clara County Sales Tax will be added unless winning bidder has a CALIFORNIA resale certificate on file with Silicon Valley Auction Service. California sales tax of 9.0% will be charged on all purchases unless buyer has a valid CALIFORNIA SALES TAX CERTIFICATE on file with Silicon Valley Auction Service.
OUT OF STATE BUYERS PLEASE NOTE - Auctions held in California are considered sold "where is" by the State of California. Therefore, the State of California does not recognize out of state resale tax numbers. Please check the California Dept of Fees and Taxes website for more information regarding their requirements. You can request a temporary California resale number from the State of California. Contact the California Dept of Fees and Taxes for information on how to acquire a temporary resale number.
Refundable $100.00 credit card payment is due at the time of registration. At the end of the auction we will use this same credit card to run your total amount due for winning lots.
If you do not want us to use the same credit card, contact (email) diana@svauctions.com before the end of the auction to let us know how you plan to pay for your items.
PAYMENT: Cash. Wire Transfer or Major Credit Card or Debit Card. FULL SETTLEMENT TO BE MADE ON DAY OF SALE. Credit card payments will be processed within 48 hours after the close of the auction. All sales are final and are payable at the conclusion of the sale. A buyer`s premium and local sales tax will be charged on all purchases. Credit card used to register will be used to process payments due at the end of the auction unless prior arrangements are made with the auctioneer. Your registration with credit card authorizes Silicon Valley Auction Service to use this credit card for payment.
CHARGEBACKS: As a condition to registration and bidding, Buyer agrees that Buyer will not, under any circumstance, initiate a chargeback to Buyer's credit card. Buyer further agrees that Buyer is waiving any chargeback rights that may exist under the agreement between Buyer and Buyer's credit card company. Should a chargeback be initiated by Buyer, these terms and conditions will be conclusive evidence of Buyer's waiver of any chargeback rights. All sales are final.
NON-PAYMENT: If any Buyer fails to pay their invoice in full within the time herein specified, Silicon Valley Auction Service reserves the right to charge the Buyer's credit card that was used at time of registration for any unpaid balance on an invoice plus a 18% buyer's premium.
