This special-edition carbine replicates the original G.I. configuration with a parkerized finish, select-grade black walnut stock, and includes a round commemorative medallion inset into the right side of the stock. One of just approximately 500 produced, these commemoratives are among the rarest variants ever released by Universal. The full display package includes everything as originally issued: Original fitted presentation case One 5-round, one 15-round, and one 30-round magazine Bayonet with scabbard 4x Weaver scope and mounting system U.S. Rifle Bag "Tweedies 1943" These commemoratives are also notable for breaking Universal’s usual serial number sequencing, with known examples (such as this one) bearing low, three-digit serials. This is a complete, collector-grade ensemble, ideal for display or investment.
