R2 - Austria 1939 German Radio. This receiver was produced in Vienna (Austria) by Nikolaus Eltz factory at the end of 30's. This set was used a lot in the German army during the second world war, it was used extensively in the barracks, shops and mess for listening to news and musical programs. It was used for the Kriegsmarines like auxiliary receiver in the ships and the submarines (U-boat, U-Boot) .Very rare to find . Appears to be in fully working condition. 14 X 9 X 6 and weight 22lbs.
