Model 1933 SA Dagger, scabbard and leather hanger. Dagger marked on Ricasso “RZM M7/93” (Ewald Cleff). Acid etched on one side of blade: “Alles fur Deutchland” and on the reverse translated “For Outstanding Service” Signature of individual to right of phrase is unknown “C___ze”? Blade is bright overall, with some dark spots and scuffs from scabbard insertion. Tip comes to a nice point and the edges are sharp with no nicks. The zinc based, nickel-silver plating has seen some wear. The brown wooden grips are in good condition with some indentations and miniscule marks. There is a mark on the central spine of the grip below the SA roundel. That insignia exhibits some verdigris around the edges. The aluminum eagle is clean and has some loss of detail on wing tip and head features. The securing pommel nut has minute marks on edge. The pommel fitting has some pitting on its surface. Scabbard is steel based, brown painted. Some minor scuffs and small paint loss specks, but no dents. Scabbard fittings are fairly clean nickel-silver plating with some specks on finish. Attached is leather hanger, and clip which retains spring functionality. Dimensions: 13.75” long overall. Blade 8.75” long. Knife in scabbard: 14.5” long overall. A beautiful example for your collection. Please see photos for condition.
