Item Details
Winchester model 21 12 gauge Side by Side shotgun. S/N 2247. Made in 1934 (3rd year of production). Double Trigger model with extractors (no auto ejectors). 30" barrels. Chokes are marked Full and Modified (they mic out to .697" -left and .718" - right). Shows signs of being reblued at some point. Condition is Good - Close to 80% overall. Bluing on the barrels is very good. Receiver has some blue loss underneath, and some freckling on the trigger guard. No rust or pitting. Wood has nicks and scratches throughout. Forearm has a chip that has been repaired on the right side (see pictures). Buttstock is missing the grip cap. Stock may have been replaced. Serial number on forearm wood does not match the gun. Good, shiny bores. Gun has been test fired, and functioned perfectly. Action locks up tight. Mechanical condition appears to be very good. Local pickup (4473 transfer required) or $40 shipping to an FFL in your state (lower 48 - AK and HI will be more - shipping price does not include insurance, which is optional). C&R OK.
Payment
Local Buyers: Pay for items when you come to pick them up. Pickup is available Monday, January 18 from 9 AM until 2 PM. Additional pickup times are available by appointment. We accept Cash, GOOD local checks (with ID), Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. 10% will Buyer's Premium will be charged on all purchases. 6.75% sales tax will be charged to Ohio Residents, BUT we offer a 5% cash discount (CASH ONLY) for local buyers to offset the sales tax cost. All FFL rules apply to firearm sales. Buyer will need to complete ATF Form 4473 at time of pickup.
Out of State Buyers: Please contact us the day after the auction (Monday, 1/18) to make arrangements for shipping and payment. We do NOT charge your credit card on file with Proxibid after the auction. We accept credit card by phone, or Wire Transfers (3% discount). All firearms must be shipped to an FFL dealer in your home state, and you will need to send us a copy of your dealer's license before we can ship your gun. Shipping cost if $25 for handguns and $40 for long guns, unless otherwise specified. Shipping cost includes up to $600 of insurance. Insurance over $600 is optional, and can be added for $1.80 per $100 of value. We ship ALL firearms through USPS (no exceptions).
