Item Details

Winchester Model 1892 lever action carbine. Low serial number 7181 puts this in or around the first year of manufacture in 1892. Gun was reblued a long time ago and is nearly bright from the muzzle back about 3". Forearm wood is nice with a 4" crack at bottom front. Butt stock is slightly loose, has been refinished and has a very well done 2" extension. Length of pull is 14". We see no markings on the 20" barrel, nor a dovetail for a rear sight. The bore measures around .44 with a tape measure and is nice and bright with good rifling and has what we believe to be case or rack dust that is 6" down from muzzle. Historic firearm that had been modified to suit a former owner. Purchase of this firearm is considered a private transaction by the ATF; Item will transfer directly to legally eligible WI resident at pickup. Shipping is available to your FFL upon request.

Payment

Buyers who choose to pick up their winnings may pay by cash or check on pick up day, or may call 715-657-0078 one day before pick up day to have their credit cards charged. Please also call ahead if you're sending someone else to pick up your items for you. If your invoice's shipping address suggests that your winnings will be shipped, you only need to contact us if you are going to pick up instead. Otherwise we will charge your credit card on file the day after the auction closes for the items won. After packing and shipping costs are determined, your credit card will be charged a second time and your items will be sent out. When circumstances dictate, we may charge a deposit before packing, then charge or credit the difference after the shipment leaves. Bad checks and bad credit/debit cards waste everyone's time. Please make sure that there are sufficient funds in your account and that your credit card information is current. We may charge a fee of up to $50 for bad checks or credit/debit cards, with the fee being commensurate to the collection efforts. A Bidder who chooses not to cooperate in resolving a nonpayment issue will be turned over to Proxibid and may ultimately be banned from the entire Proxibid system. Bidder forfeits the right to instigate credit card chargebacks and will contact Bennett Auction Service directly with any dispute or claim. Bennett Auction Service will refund Bidder for any claim that Bennett Auction Service deems legitimate. We value our Buyers and treat them fairly.
