This Golden Hawk is a factory-supercharged car and maintains its original factory drivetrain. One of only 4356 Golden Hawks produced that year. It?s powered by its factory 289ci high-performance Studebaker V8 engine with the VS 57 variable-speed Paxton McCulloch supercharger backed by a 3-speed manual transmission with overdrive. This Golden Hawk is highly optioned with dual chrome exhaust tips and a Twin-Traction posi-traction rear end. This Golden Hawk is finished in its original shade of P5710 Midnight Black. The high-quality frame-off restoration executed over a 5-year period included refreshed brightwork two-tone paint correct silver tailfins and full factory wheel covers on whitewall tires.
