This 2018 Factory Five Type 65 Shelby Dayton Re-creation was built with all-new parts. Featuring a Ford performance Coyote 5.0-liter engine and Tremec TKO600 5-speed manual transmission it has Wilwood brakes 18? wheels and a 3-link rear suspension. The car is finished in White Pearl with Patriot Blue stripes and red pinstripes. The chassis and engine bay panels are powder-coated in a custom gray finish. This car was built at SEMA 2018 in the Ford Performance booth. Its first start was completed by NASCAR driver Joey Logano and it was then driven by Factory Five Owner Dave Smith on the Ford Out Front drift track at the event. Katie Osbourne host of ?Power Nation TV? was his co-pilot and the car was featured on the show on December 4 2018.
