This roadster was originally found in Buenos Aires Argentina. It was shipped back to the U.S. where a bunch of period-correct modifications were completed over the last four years. While most parts of this Highboy are from the 1930s there are some exceptions although it remains true to the history of the hot rod. The engine which is sitting between the modified stock frame rails has Ardun heads to improve the combustion and output. The roadster was also greatly enhanced in breathability and efficiency of the Flathead by developing an overhead-valve cylinder head with hemispherical combustion chambers. These are mated to a completely rebuilt 239ci Ford Flathead engine which is mated to a Ford 3-speed manual transmission. The entire front suspension was upgraded along with the braking components including the rear. The interior was transformed to a more bomber-style and finished with aluminum bomber seats. The wire wheels with knock-off-style spinners are wrapped in period-correct Firestone Champion tires. The fronts are a traditional dirt track style. A select offering from The Bryan Frank Collection.
