1963 FORD GALAXIE 500 XL CONVERTIBLE

This Ford?s restoration began with its original sheet metal being stripped bare and the car mounted to a large rotisserie and thoroughly worked over the course of three years. Once the sheet metal was aligned Chestnut Metallic lacquer was fashioned around tinted glass a power-operated roof and original trim that has been stripped polished and anodized. This convertible is motivated by a 406/405hp V8 Ford big-bore engine pairing a correct C3AE-6015-V casting number with correct Tri-Power induction sending power through a correct BorgWarner T10 4-speed manual transmission and 9? Ford axle built with correct 3.50 gears. Included in this sale is a photo album of the restoration.
