1956 CHEVROLET BEL AIR CUSTOM CONVERTIBLE

This 1956 Bel Air convertible underwent a complete rebuild and is powered by a new 327/350hp 8-cylinder engine mated to a new 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission with a 2000 stall converter. During the rotisserie restoration the frame was cleaned sandblasted and all the welds were repaired and painted. The bolted-on parts that were not chrome or shiny were finished in black paint. The exterior is finished in new two-tone urethane paint and the underside of the body has been painted with old rusted panels replaced. The custom interior features a new digital instrument panel and gauges. It is equipped with new power rack & pinion steering new front tubular control arms with 2? dropped spindles and coil springs front power disc brakes front and rear sway bars for stability and a new rear end with upgraded suspension. All of the trim work was removed straightened and polished and the bumpers were changed. It rides on new custom tires and wheels and has a new gas tank and an electric fold-down license plate and frame.
