Payment

Payment by cash, check, credit card, or wire transfer is required within 3 days of the conclusion of the auction. Payment made by cashier's, personal or business check must be sent by Overnight Mail. A 5% online convenience premium will be charged for all online bids, also a 4% convenience fee will be added to all credit card purchases. Bank wire payments will be charged $25.00. Items not paid for within the required three-day period will be charged to your credit card on file with Proxibid with the 5% convenience fee. Information regarding the North Carolina State Tax Requirement: The state of NC requires ALL Auction Companies to charge sales tax on ALL items unless a person is exempt through the NCDOR. All invoices will be charged with 6.75% or 7.00% (depending on the NC County in which the auction is conducted). The auction on Saturday, June 18th and is in Craven County and the tax charge is 6.75%. To be exempt from NC State Tax you must present to Tugwell Auction a signed state E595E form with your state exempt number. Call the NC Department of Revenue if you would like to apply for this exemption, 877-252-3052. Vehicles, RV and Trailers will NOT be charged sales tax.
