As we approach the 150th anniversary of the Kentucky Derby, now is your chance to collect an unopened Jim Beam whiskey decanter commemorating the 100th running of the Kentucky Derby in 1974 (the year Cannonade won). Two unglazed horseheads on the front of the decanter depict the first Derby winner Aristides, and the 100th winner, with a little sticker with Cannonade's name (presumably original to the bottle, applied post-race). The tax stamp and bottle seal are intact and the decanter comes with its original bag. While we can’t see how much bourbon is in the decanter, based on weight, we estimate the decanter to be 90% full. Decanter holds 4/5 quart of 100 month old 86 proof Jim Beam Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey.
