Please note that bidders must present government-issued photo identification when registering to bid in person. Online bidders may leave pre-bids and/or participate in real-time. You are encouraged to use the Max Bid feature which represents your high bid. In the event of technology issues with Internet sales, the Auctioneer reserves the right to reopen or extend Internet bidding as it deems necessary and appropriate. In the event a bidder loses internet connection, immediately call the Berger Truck Sales Office (434-429-7263) for assistance. BUYER’S PREMIUM:  A 10% Buyer’s Premium for on-site bidders and 13% for all online bidders will be charged for each lot purchased in addition to any applicable sales tax. APPLYING FOR TAX-EXEMPT STATUS: All taxable items are subject to a 6.3% Sales Tax Some bidders may be exempt from payment of applicable taxes. If you wish to apply for tax-exempt status, you must submit a completed copy of your tax-exempt certificate prior to this auction’s closing. Please note that you must declare that you are tax exempt when registering for the auction. If you do not follow the procedures discussed in this paragraph, the Auctioneer will be unable to consider identifying you as exempt from taxation, and you will have to apply directly to the applicable state for a refund. Please also note that, depending on the state whose sales tax applies, submission of the Auctioneer’s tax exempt form may not be sufficient to entitle you to tax-exempt status. Removal  BEGINS SUNDAY Sept. 8th, 8am -4pm Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm ET. Removal Deadline is Thursday, Sept. 19th by 4:00pm ET. ALL ITEMS MUST BE PAID IN FULL BEFORE REMOVAL OF ANY ITEM WILL BE ALLOWED. Loadout:  Is the responsibility of the purchaser. Lucky L's and Berger's personnel will direct you to the location of your item(s), and, at their discretion load items. (Loadout fees may apply) Lucky L's and Berger's  personnel will not push, pull, or drive equipment or trucks onto trailers, stack trailers, or load large items. Storage Fee:  Any item remaining after the Removal Deadline, a $10 per day, per item fee will be charged to the buyer until the item is removed. Anything remaining 60 (sixty) days after the Removal Deadline will be considered abandoned and Lucky L  may take possession of the asset(s). UNLESS PRIOR ARRANGMENTS ARE MADE! TITLES:  Titles will not be released until all payments have been received.  We do not guarantee mileage accuracy, we list the odometer reading!  We are not responsible for any mileage discrepancies!  PHOTOGRAPHS AND DESCRIPTIONS:   The Auction Managers regularly post item descriptions and photographs to aid bidders in the bidding process, and will make every effort to ensure that the descriptions and photographs that we post accurately represent the items being offered for sale.  However it is the Buyers responsibility to fully inspect and determine the condition, age, and any details pertaining to items prior to bidding!  Lucky L and its associates will make every effort to ensure that the descriptions and photographs that we post accurately represent the items being offered for sale. In some photographs, multiple items may appear to be joined as a single unit, however you should not assume that a lot consists of more than one item simply because various items appear connected or are featured in the same photograph. Also understand that, on occasion, the wrong photograph may be displayed for a given item. At all times, you are bidding on items as they are described, not as they appear in any photograph.  THE AUCTIONEER FURTHER DISCLAIMS ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR LIENS OR ENCUMBRANCES THAT MAY ATTACH TO OR BE ASSOCIATED WITH ANY LOTS OR ITEMS.
