This 40-acre parcel is located in Cedarville Township that borders Green Bay (an embayment of Lake Michigan). The southeastern corner of the parcel is about 1,000 feet from Green Bay and the northwestern corner is only a few hundred feet from East State Highway M35.

Green Bay is an arm of Lake Michigan, separated from the rest of the lake by the Door Peninsula in Wisconsin, the Garden Peninsula in Michigan, and the chain of islands between them, all formed by the Niagara Escarpment. It is conveniently located an easy 16 mile drive along M35 from Escanaba (commonly shortened to “Esky”), a port city located on Little Bay de Noc. The Escanaba River starts in west central Marquette County, north of Lake Michigan, and flows southeast to Lake Michigan at Little Bay de Noc. The Bay de Noc Area includes the cities of Escanaba and Gladstone, which are known for their waterfront parks, fishing opportunities, and local festivals.
