Set of 2, 1957 $1 Silver Certificate Notes -- High Grade

Nice pieces of US currency! Very little wear. These are what's known as Silver Certificates because printed on the bottom says "ONE DOLLAR IN SILVER PAYABLE TO THE BEARER ON DEMAND." When these notes were in circulation, a person could take them to a bank and trade them for physical silver. Very awesome piece of American history in amazing condition for its age. We're not currency experts, so we can't determine an exact value, but this bill in this condition is worth a good amount. And with physical currency more and more becoming replaced with digital forms of payment, there's a strong chance that these older historical currencies will become even more collectible as people become nostalgic for the days when their wallets and purses were full of beautifully designed notes of exchange.
