Walneck's Restoration in Progress presents restoration enthusiasts with a unique opportunity to observe a restoration in its entirety. When all is said and done, the fully restored 1969 BMW R69US will be auctioned on the web, as well as in a live auction at AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days July 27-29 in Lexington, Ohio. Proceeds from the auction will go to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. 1966 BSA Victor GP One of only 264 ever produced, the bike was the production version of World Champion Jeff Smith’s 1964 and 1965 championship machines. There are zero hours on a total restoration/preparation of the bike for show and AHRMA competition. Chassis upgrades include AJS Stormer wheels and front forks Works Performance shocks and Vintage Brake competition brake shoes. The correct, BSA front end is included with the bike, as are modified, AHRMA legal foot pegs. The engine is period modified with .060 oversize piston, oversize valves a one-off cam. In 2006, the bike took second place in the Classic 500 class at the AHRMA National in Gainesville, Florida. The engine also has
