Colt Model 1862 Police Percussion Revolver with Holster

.36 caliber, 6.5" barrel, S/N 13737. Brass frame, walnut grip.
Condition: Fair condition with a rough rusty bore. The cylinder has a small crack and the barrel wedge is a replacement. The grip has a crack and a screw in the right side holding it together. The holster is very good.

.46 caliber, 37.5" octagonal barrel stamped S. BECK and engraved tang. Lockplate has edge engraving and marked POWELL. Double-set triggers. Walnut half-stock has a checked wrist and mixed brass, iron and nickel furniture. Complete with wood ramrod.
Condition: Good. Normal age and service wear. Stock has replaced wood on the fore end.

.58 caliber, 36.25" half-round, half-octagonal barrel with English proofs. Silver inlaid band at the breech and a LONDON maker's mark. Engraved lock marked A W. NILES. Walnut half stock with checkered wrist and engraved iron furniture. Complete with wood ramrod.
Condition: Good. Slight wood loss above the lock and a few small cracks.

.70 caliber, 28" round barrel, octagonal at the breech with proof mark and partially legible maker's name. Engraved lock and hammer marked ASHMORE / WARRANTED. Walnut half-stock with brass furniture, lacking fore end cap. Complete with iron ramrod.
Condition: Good. Moderate age and service wear. Lead repair to the forward ramrod pipe.

.40 caliber, 34" octagonal barrel length. Marking on lock plate Henry Parker over Warranted. Engraving on lock plate of a pheasant behind the hammer. Brass triggerguard, fore end cap, two ramrod pipes and buttplate.
Condition: Browned barrel. Lock and hammer have a light brown patina. Stock has nicks and dings and crack on right side of buttstock. Brass furniture has an untouched patina. Bore is good. Overall condition is good.

.55 caliber, 32.75" octagonal smoothbore barrel with engraved maker's name H. Hocomb. Brass rear sight and engraved tang. Engraved lock has partially legible maker's mark. Walnut stock with iron furniture and brass ramrod pipes. Complete with iron ramrod.
Condition: Fair. Lock non-functional and poorly fitted to stock. Overall dark age toning.

.40 caliber, 31.5" octagonal barrels marked B.C. WOOD / POST N.Y on top and B. LOSEY on the sides. Has and engraved backlock for the top barrel and an underhammer for the bottom. Walnut stock with iron furniture and an engraved silver patchbox inscribed J. Jones. Complete with contemporary replaced wood ramrods.
Condition: Good. Overall age toning and moderate service wear.

US Percussion Over/Under Rifle by H. D. Wolcot
Lot # 1216 (Sale Order: 116 of 793)
.50 caliber smooth bore, .32 caliber rifled. Golcher marked locks. Silver and brass cap box, brass buttplate, silver inlay squirrel. Iron triggerguard. Walnut stock. This rifle was made in Wrights, PA, however, this maker also worked in Yonkers, New York.
Condition: Barrels are smooth and brown pitted around the percussion nipple and breech. Stock is brown with some nicks and dings. Ramrods are old replacements.

.32 caliber rifle and .52 caliber smoothbore, 32" round barrels, top rifled, the bottom smoothbore. With iron ramrod pipes, backlock with dual "mule ear" hammers, marked E. DEWEY; double triggers. Walnut stock with brass furniture including a hinged patchbox. Complete with contemporary wooden ramrods.
Condition: Good, normal age and service wear, lock needs timing, stock a little loose and repaired opposite the lock near the wrist.

Condition: Good. Some pitting of the breech and lock.

.68 caliber, 32.25" round barrel with English proofs and an engraved star motif near the breech. Nipple is a contemporary replacement. Engraved lock. Walnut half-stock with checkered fore end and wrist. Mixed brass, iron and nickel furniture. Brass-tipped wood ramrod appears to be an older replacement.
Condition: Good. Short crack with minor wood loss on the reverse fore end.

16 gauge, 32" barrels marked on the spine LONDON FINE TWIST. Engraved locks marked W. RICHARDS; double-triggers. Walnut stock with checkered wrist, engraved iron furniture. Wooden ramrod tipped with a brass-rimmed cartridge casing.
Condition: Fair to good. Nipples hammered flat. Left lock does not function.

Cincinnati Percussion Rifle Made by John Winter
Lot # 1225 (Sale Order: 125 of 793)
.36 caliber, 33.5" octagonal barrel with gold banded breech and gold maker's inlaid plate engraved John Winter, Maker, Cincinnati (active 1834 to 1850s). Percussion backlock, action frozen, and folding tang sight. Walnut half stock with checkered wrist and cheek rest, and engraved German silver furniture; some inlays missing, including an eagle motif. Complete with wood ramrod. Worth the effort to restore it.
Condition: Near relic condition due to poor storage. Heavy surface rust and dry wood. Missing inlaid elements. A once exceptional rifle that may clean to fair or good condition.
