2006 National Collectors Mint World Trade Center Memorial 2-Token Set 5th Anniv

This lot is to mark the 5th Anniversary of September 11th. This double-dated World Trade Center Commemorative was issued by the National Collector’s Mint. A truly unique design was used on these tokens. The base was struck with gleaming buildings on a frosted background, then the inset of the Twin Towers is magnificently engraved and fitted into the skyline. They are both .999 fine silver with gold overlay. One of the coins is missing the twin towers insert and just has the silhouette. The set is 2.50 ounces of .999 fine silver.
