RETURN POLICY: Rowlands Relics, Ltd. recognizes that Indian artifacts are reproduced, often times in a convincing manner, and is cognizant of the fact that we cannot be expected to know all there is to know about every artifact type, every material and every geographical implication, and thus we have striven to craft a return policy that is fair to bidders, consignors and the auction service alike.
Rowlands Relics, Ltd. shall provide a full refund for any lot involved in a dispute over authenticity, providing said items are returned within twenty-two days of the date of sale, along with a written statement from either Bennett, Berner, Davis, Dickey, Hanna/Puterra, Howard, Jackson, Motley, Partain, Rogers or Stermer declining to issue a Certificate of Authenticity. Conversely, if an artifact offered for sale already has a COA from one or more of the above-named Authenticators, including Gregory Perino (deceased), the sale shall be considered final. If you do not trust the judgment of any given Authenticator on any given lot, please do not bid on that item. Please consult with your Authenticator of choice to ascertain whether he/she is comfortable certifying applicable relic types and materials. A “pass” from any given Authenticator will not be considered sufficient to qualify for a refund. Rowlands Relics, Ltd. shall not be responsible for altered or forged COA's, although Certificates of Authenticity are screened prior to the sale to the best of our ability. To aid in our customer's vetting needs, Rowlands Relics, Ltd. will gladly ship any item won directly to your Authenticator of choice, providing arrangements are made within forty-eight hours of the close of the sale. Absolutley NO returns or adjustments will be made after twenty-two days. Property is open to thorough public inspection. Please feel free to contact Rowlands Relics, Ltd. -- by e-mail or by phone -- for an in-depth consultation on any item prior to the date of sale. A small number of the items on the block are subject to owner reserve.
