Krueger Beer Sign with Die-Cut Pin-up Girls
Lot # 176 (Sale Order: 176 of 350)
This sign is for Krueger Beer from the G. Krueger Brewing Company of Newark, New Jersey. It features an outdoor style billboard with pin-up models around it, as well as two hanging from strings to make this sign a mobile as well. The sign is approximately 12-3/4 inches x 8-1/4 inches, with the two hanging cutouts measuring 5-1/2 inches x 3-1/4 inches and 6-1/2 inches x 3-1/4 inches. Each piece is double sided and in excellent condition. This piece even includes the original strings and hook used to hang the sign.
Unused Always Tasty Brand Provisions Round Celluloid Sign

This celluloid sign for "Always Tasty Brand Provisions" was made by the Philadelphia Badge Company of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is 9 inches in diameter and appears to have never been used with the colors being nice, bright, and vivid.
1951 Chevy Low Rider Truck by Jada (1/24 scale)

This lot is for one of the neatest looking low rider pickup trucks we have seen. It is a 1/24 scale 1951 Chevrolet truck by Jada. It came without a box and is in like new condition with no broken or missing parts (that we could see). Besides all the great looking chrome parts, it has a sun visor, window mount air conditioner, and features an opening hood, doors, and tailgate. The size is approximately 8-1/2 inches x 3-1/2 inches x 2-3/4 inches.

Mid 1930s Goudey "Oh-Boy-Gum" Tin Litho Advertising Sign
Lot # 179 (Sale Order: 179 of 350)
This is a brightly colored advertising sign for Oh-Boy-Gum. This sign is of a boy holding four packs of gum with a grinning elf whispering in his ear. The Goudey Gum Company of Boston and Chicago released the Oh-Boy-Gum as its first product, and the name Oh-Boy became associated with other Goudey products. The sign was made by the H. D. Beach Company, measures approximately 7-1/4 inches x 15-1/2 inches, and is in very good condition with 2 tiny nail holes (one at the top and one on the bottom and not detracting from the sign). The colors are bright and vivid with no scratches or chips.
Two Fishing Tackle Displays by Sevenstrand

This lot is for two fishing tackle displays made by Sevenstrand circa 1980. This company has been producing exceptionally high quality fishing tackle for over 60 years in Hunting Beach, California. Sevenstrand is dedicated to sport fishing, and these lures are some of the reasons they are famous. The first card is for a lure or jig called 102 Octopus, and it has 24 different octopus shaped jigs mounted to the card. The second display is a mix of different sized weighted hooks and jigs; there are 23 jigs and eight sizes of weighted hooks. Both displays are approximately 12 inches x 18 inches and consist of a printed card made of card stock with the tackle sealed onto the card with a plastic film.
Iced Tea Tip Tray

This tip tray advertising Cheong Tea is approximately 4-1/4 inches in diameter and was distributed by the C. D. Kenny Company. It is very detailed and shows an oriental lady holding a tray of iced tea. Ex++ condition.
Girard Perregaux Lady's Gold Wristwatch

Up for bid is a vintage 14K gold lady's Girard Perregaux wristwatch. This is a hand-wound watch with a very nice dial and hands. The 14K case has been tested and authenticated. It features a nice faceted crystal that really sets the tone for this beautiful watch. The Swiss movement is 17 jewels and signed Girard Perregaux. The watch comes on a vintage Speidel flex band that should be upgraded to something that will make this fine old watch stand out.
County of Shasta, California Original Porcelain Sign

This is a vintage porcelain sign from Shasta County, California. The image features Shasta Dam with water coming over the spillway, the lake behind the dam, and Mount Shasta in the center-back. It is a six color porcelain sign with the following colors: tan, black, green, blue, white, and brown. The size is approximately 12-3/8 inches in diameter on thick steel. The colors are bright and vivid with no chips except around the mounting holes. There is a small scratch on the bottom that does not detract at all from the sign. This is in very good condition and displays well.
Lanceolate Jasper Knife from The Dalles, Oregon

Offered is a Lanceolate jasper knife tha tis approximately 2-5/8 inches x 7/8 of an inch in size. This was found by Frank Buehler in the Columbia River Basin in the vicinity of The Dalles, Oregon (no dig site was listed). Found circa 1960, this is right out of Buehler's collection and has not been offered for public sale until now.
Three Buffalo Bill Stories from 1909

These weekly publications printed by Street & Smith in New York sold for 5 cents each. These three issues are: #437 dated September 25, 1909; #438 dated October 2, 1909; and #440 dated October 16, 1909. Each is approximately 8 inches x 11 inches in size, made of pulp paper, and is very fragile. In fact, even somewhat dog eared. These look great in a plastic sleeve as the graphics are super. Probably best to read them once, then put them back in the sleeve.
Assortment of Seven Columbia River Arrowheads from the Obie Site
Lot # 186 (Sale Order: 186 of 350)
Offered is an assortment of seven Columbia River arrowheads and points. These drills or arrowheads offer a cross section of the different material used in the region. The two large, long narrow drills are approximately 1-7/8 inches and 1-1/2 inches long x 1/2 of an inch wide; the two smaller drills are approximately 1 inch x 1/2 of an inch; and the remaining three arrowheads slightly larger at approximately 1-1/2 inches x 5/8 of an inch. These pieces were found by Walt and Gladys Koch and have remained in their collection until now. They were found circa 1960 at the Obie Site on the Columbia River, a well known artifact site where the Oregon Archaeological Society members worked in the 1950s and 60s.
Family Dog on The Great Hiway Handbill

This is a very simple handbill or telephone pole poster. This piece advertises an event at the Family Dog on The Great Hiway held on June 25th. This is where the Family Dog moved their concert and events after leaving the famed Filmore in June 1969. The venue was the former Edgewater Ballroom, part of the Playland At The Beach complex in San Francisco. The Family Dog was only in at this location a couple years, and we could find no reference to this event in their history. Dakota Maid Flour Die-Cut Easel-Back Display Sign

This die-cut paper-lithograph-on-cardboard easel-back display sign is an advertising piece for Dakota Maid flour. This free-standing sign depicts the Dakota Maid Native American woman. She has an interesting smile and is wearing a beaded buckskin dress, moccasins, and a feathered headband while holding a five-pound sack of Dakota Maid flour. The sign measures approximately 39 inches x 14 inches at the base and is in excellent condition with colors that are bright with no fading or scratches. There is a crease at the top of the feather, which does not detract from the sign and is mentioned for accuracy.
11-Ounce Rainier Jubilee Flat-Top Beer Can

"Come To My Party and Wear A Fancy Hat" Book

This vintage book contains almost everything you need for a successful children's party: four games to play, eight place cards to decorate, and eight "fancy hats" to wear. All the hats and place cards are present and un-punched. The book was created by Otto Rebele and illustrated by Steffie E. Lerch. It was copyrighted in 1950 and published by the Garden City Publishing Co., Inc., Garden City, New York. It measures approximately 12-1/2 inches x 10-1/4 inches. The corners and the cover show slight wear; otherwise, the book is in excellent condition. Also included is the original mailing envelope with a postmark of "Jun 12 '53" that is in good condition, also.
1800 Draped Bust U.S. Large Cent

This lot is for an 1800 Draped Bust United States large cent. This coin is the "80" over "79" with style 2 hair. As with all of our coins, it is ungraded and straight from the consignor to the bidder. We have not attempted to grade or clean this coin, and it is being sold as received. 1974 Golden State Country Bluegrass Festival Poster with Jerry Garcia

This 1974 poster was for the Golden State Country Bluegrass Festival held at Marin Veterans' Memorial Building and Grounds in San Rafael, California on April 26, 27, and 28, 1974. Rick Shubb of Carousel Ballroom poster-artwork fame created the poster's art work, also. This event had almost every living bluegrass icon and many of the hottest folk and country acts present. On the second day of the event, the Great American String Band performed with members Jerry Garcia, David Grisman, Richard Green, and Taj Mahal. There is an iconic picture by John Sievert of John McEuen, Steve Martin, and Garcia "pickin' and grinnin'" together at the festival. This approximately 18-1/2 inch x 27-3/4 inch poster is the first and only printing and is on thick stock with great color. As to the condition, this poster has dings to the corners with part of the bottom left corner missing; however, it is still a great poster that is seldom seen!
Two Arrowheads from Atlatl Valley in Washington

Offered are two arrowheads found at the Atlatl Valley site in Klickitat County, Washington. The smaller arrowhead is approximately 1-1/2 inches x 1 inch and the larger one is approximately 1-3/4 inches x 1-1/16 inches in size. These are both from the Frank Buehler collection and are exactly as received.
Two 1948 Hopalong Cassidy Comic Books

Angelus Marshmallows Celluloid Oval Pocket Mirror

This beautiful celluloid mirror for Angelus Marshmallows is approximately 2-3/4 inches long x1-3/4 inches across. It shows cupid holding a box of marshmallows and a trumpet. The rim reads, "Mirror Free With Package of Angelus Marshmallows. Ask Your Dealer or Send 3 - 2 cent Stamps to Rueckheim Bros. & Eckstein, Chicago." It is in excellent condition with the colors just jumping out at you.
Monarch Coffee Thermos

It is unusual to find this thermos unbroken and complete with all four cups. This set was a complementary giveaway by the Reid, Murdoch & Co., manufacturers of Monarch Finer Foods. The thermos measures approximately 14 inches tall and the body has one scratch on the side; otherwise, the condition is excellent. You will be very happy with this piece of coffee memorabilia.
1920s Advance Model D Gumball Machine

This lot is for a circa 1925 advance model D gumball machine. This machine is made of rolled sheet metal and has a flush-mounted nickel-plated brass coin mechanism with patent dates from 9-11-1917, 11-5-1912, and 4-24-1923. This was made in Chicago by Advance Machine Company and has its original small globe. As was common with these old machines, this one was repainted years ago and has some runs in the paint. The decal is new and there are some chips to the bottom opening of the globe (also very common, but mentioned for accuracy). The size is approximately 14 inches x 7 inches x 7 inches, and this machine comes with the original bottom lock and key, as well as a small lock and key for the top. The machine was filled to take pictures and will be shipped empty.
Yankee Doodle Root Beer Menu Chalk Board

This chalk board was made by the Stout Sign Company in St. Louis, Missouri for Yankee Doodle Root Beer. This item is approximately 27 inches x 19 inches and is a very, very colorful embossed tin sign in excellent condition. It appears as though the board was ever written on making this piece is a must for the root beer collector!
"A Good Sip" Schafer & Vater Colored Nipper Flask

This vintage Schafer & Vater piece is a colored nipper flask and is titled, "A Good Sip," featuring a woman in a glass with a man in formal attire stepping up to kiss her. This piece comes complete with the original stopper and measures approximately 4-7/8 inches tall x 2-3/4 inches wide. This flask is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.
