Bromo Seltzer Dispenser

Lot # 229 (Sale Order: 229 of 350)

This three-piece Bromo Seltzer dispenser is one of the early dispensers, as it has a cobalt blue glass bottom. This type of dispenser was used in drug stores and soda fountains for many years. One would turn the handle to dispense the right amount of Seltzer into the glass, add water, and stir. As you can see, the bottle was made for this dispenser because when the bottle is upside down, the paper label shows right side up. The size with the bottle is approximately 16 inches tall x 4-1/2 inches wide x 5-1/2 inches deep. It is about 8 inches tall without the bottle. It is unusual to find a dispenser complete with the original glass and bottle. This great piece really stands out! Condition Report...more
