Edward of England Cross Bone and Skull Pirate Flag, believed to be from the mid 16th Century to the 18th Century. This flag is showing great age but still in fair condition, measures 33” x 56”. Has Skull and Cross Bones on both sides, has some documentation stating that this flag appears to be original. It appears to be of the period and could possibly be the rarest and most expensive item we have ever auctioned.

Name marked under bill of cap well documented with copies of muster roll, copies of pay roll record and is noted in chapter 6 file number 225 page 126 of the Confederate archives. This is one of the rarest and most difficult to find pieces in Civil War Memorabilia. Condition is good. 1860 French Confederate Sword belonging to Washburn Mott from Appaloosa, LA. He served in the Louisiana Confederate Regiment. The blade is etched with Confederate leather sheath, brass fittings, tip came from last surviving great-great grandson of W. Mott. Great Civil War Artifact.
