COLONEL AL CANTOR WWII TO KOREA ARCHIVE

Lot # 4352 (Sale Order: 350 of 419)      

This archive is from Retired Air Force Col. Al Cantor. It includes 18 photos from Albrook Air Force Base. The photos are from a exercise called Banyan Tree II on March 9, 1960 each with a description of what is going on in the photo; photos also include one photo of Al Canto in 1955 while he was still a Major. Also included is the Air Force Register from 1972 Retired Lists with his name listed. There are two wall plaques from the 27th Air division, one with the inscription " Colonel Al Cantor In recognition of you outstanding contribution to the 27th Air Division which culminates 32 years of dedicated service to your country. 27th Air Division 'defenders of the southwest' May 1968". Included as well is a Hamilton Field 1938 Year book which has him listed with photo and he has written notes of friends ranking up, killed in action, and deceased. There is also an oil can from WWII that is inscribed " Air Corps US Army". Archive also includes many of his metal bars and medals bars include stars oak clusters and one Berlin Air Lift Device. Also includes a mini medal bar with 9 medals, with devices on them. Includes dress cap and dress cap cover with two iron on bills one for Colonel and one for Lt. Colonel. Also includes many patches and stickers from many years in the service. Overall in very good condition. EST $150-300...more
