THAI AYUTTHAYA TERRCOTTA DECORATED CLAY POT

Round clay pot with incised decoration. Hand-rolled, hand-formed, hand-incised. Flared neck with bulged lip. Claimed to be from and consistent with the ceramics of Ayutthaya (15th-18th century), the UNESCO world heritage-recognized ruins destroyed by Burma in the 18th century. Thai. Good condition with typical age-related surface defects and patina. Half-inch hairline crack at lip, but structural integrity is preserved. Height 4 inches. 4.5-inch diameter. This lot has a reserve.
