WWII LUFTWAFFE WILLRICH PROPAGANDA POSTER

Poster measures approximately 24 by 30 inches, 38 by 43 inches framed and features a paratrooper holding his MP40 submachine gun. Poster is marked "Luftwaffe, 1940." Cap is named to Uffz. Wegener, also marked 9./A.?29 Kassel. Private purchase cap, size 59. Inside liner marked "BAYERISCNE ? ? KIENE & SOHNS MENCHEN-GOETHESTR.34 1936". Visor has slight cracking consistent with age. Cap eagle post is detached and has been glued. Cap is in very good condition. This lot has a reserve.

THIRD REICH ARMY OFFICERS CAP - MOUNTAIN TROOPS

Officers visor cap in green/grey wool with light green piping for mountain troops and a small Edelweiss badge to the front. Made by Uniformierungshaus Karl Petrasch, Klagenfurt. The hat is a good size, (up to 22.5 inches head size). There is some very minor mothing, mainly to the piping and light use wear. This lot has a reserve.

SILK WWII GERMAN HEER CAVALRY OFFICER CRUSHER CAP

Lot # 2206 (Sale Order: 206 of 346)      

Cavalry Officer's crusher cap has a fine silk top with dark green wool cap band and deep yellow piping, silvered brass eagle/swastika and oak leaves. The interior has a deep golden yellow silk lining and the leather sweatband. Used during 1936 Olympics and other horse riding competition events. This was a tradition started pre-WWI, with Cavalry Officers. Cap is in very good condition. This lot has a reserve.

WWII GI JAPANESE BRING-BACK JAPAN FOB & COMPASS

Japanese bring-back items from a GI stationed in New Guinea. A silver naval pilot academy graduation watch fob (42 by 47 by 1.5 mm; 28.0 grams) reverse has untranslated silver mark. WWII Japanese compass (30 mm diameter, 11 mm thick) on a 12 inch chain still points north. Overall in very good condition.
