Pre WWII Pattern 1929 1st Model German Naval dress dagger. Marked "M 429" on blade and scabbard, with WKC knight's head logo and navy property mark on ricasso. Gilded brass hilt fittings, with wire wrapped celluloid grip, and portepee. Minor contact wear to blade, and fray to portepee cord, otherwise very good condition. This lot has a reserve.

18TH C ITALIAN / SARDINIAN FINELY-CRAFTED POIGNARD

Lot # 2285 (Sale Order: 284 of 346)      

Finely crafted 18th century poignard dagger. Style and shape are consistent with styles carried amongst aristocracy in the Mediterranean region of Sardinia and southern Italy. Central fullered spear point blade measures 11.5 inches, with balustered bolster, silver ferrule, horn grips with high relief silver insets, and silver pommel. 5.5 inch false edge on top of blade leads to flat edge engraved with what appears to be "non ti finor da me se il cor ti marchio no mi cuore", and "senza ragione" on lower shoulder. Blade is finely engraved in high relief with what appears as a gentleman bidding farewell to a woman on one side, and on horseback on the other, and the balance in floral scroll and animals. Scabbard is blue velvet over wood, with silver throat and chape. Some wear to velvet on scabbard, and a few dings to throat. Dagger itself in in excellent condition, presenting an exceptionally fine example of its kind. This lot has a reserve.

PETITE JEWELED DAGGER WITH MAROON FABRIC SCABBARD

Dagger measures 8 inches in scabbard, blade measures 4 inches. Handle of the dagger has Judith holding the severed head of Holofernes and skull and cross-bones. Handle and scabbard are covered in jewels. Some stones are missing consistent with age and a tear in the maroon fabric on the back of the scabbard measuring .25 by 1.5 inches. Dagger blade has a etched design on it. Dagger is in good to very good condition. This lot has a reserve.

SAUDI ARABIAN SILVER KHANJAR IN CASE

Gold-plate over sterling khanjar was presented to Wayne Calarco, guard to Princess Maha, wife of Prince Assand, in 1992 while visiting Orlando. The green case has the Royal Saudi seal. Ricasso is marked with KSA (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) and a solider, the guard is marked "90" and has the Saudi seal. Reverse of scabbard has some glue residue. Overall in excellent condition. CIVIL WAR ERA ROGERS & SPENCER REVOLVER LOW SERIAL

Lot # 2299 (Sale Order: 298 of 346)      

Civil War era Rogers & Spencer Army percussion revolver. Manufactured from 1863 to 1865 in Willowvale, New York for the US Army. Marked across top above cylinder "ROGERS & SPENCER / UTICA N-Y". Serial number 947, all matching on bottom of back strap, cylinder, under barrel, loading lever, cylinder and the left side of the frame. "B" inspection mark stamped on the barrel, loading lever, cylinder, frame, and trigger guard. No cartouche or inside serial numbers on grips, Grips appear probably an early replacement, possibly from a civilian model. Bore is remarkably good and clean for the age, with crisply defined lands and grooves. Finish has been re-blued, with some original pits seen underneath, but newer finish retaining about 90% coverage. Some chips and hand carved letters on bottom of grips, but no major damage or cracks. Cylinder is tight, with almost no play, and hammer cocks back with strong tight clicks. Overall good condition. Caliber: .44 Serial #: 947
