Silver/gray patina, good bore, right side of frame marked STARRS PATENT JAN 15 1856. left side of frame marked STARR ARMS Co NEW, YORK, matching numbers on frame and cylinder, front half moon dovetail sight and hammer nose notch for rear sight, cocks, advances and indexes when trigger is pulled, these revolvers were made as double action only and will not cock manually, wood grips show average handling.
