This pistol is like new and appears to have seen little if any use. It comes with a total of two magazines, cleaning kit, manual and its original factory box that is correctly end-labeled and numbered to the gun. High Standard Supermatic Citation Semi-Auto Pistol

The metal surfaces on this Hamden production pistol retain 98-99% original blue with some light oxidation on the trigger and a few faint handling marks. The checkered thumbrest grips rate near excellent with a couple of minor handing blemishes and a small crack on the right side by the magazine release. The gun features a bridged adjustable rear sight, stippled gripstraps and the barrel has indents for an add-on muzzle break and is factory drilled and tapped for weights. A.H. Fox Sterlingworth Boxlock Double Shotgun

Lot # 888 (Sale Order: 888 of 1029)      

serial #117788, 12 ga, 26" matted rib barrels both choked modified with bright excellent bores. The barrels retain 85-90% thinning original blue with some light specks of oxidation and pinprick pits here and there. The frame has mostly toned to a bright gray patina with traces of original case colors in protected areas and tiny pinprick pitting in some areas. The checkered pistolgrip walnut buttstock and splinter forend rate very good to near excellent showing added finish and a few light handling marks from the years; the wood-to-metal fit is flush. The length of pull to the added brown rubber recoil pad is 14" with drops of 1 3/4" and 3 1/8"; the butt has most likely been shortened. Lock up is tight on this handy little 12 gauge Sterlingworth double shotgun. (157820-6) {MODERN}

Winchester Model 1901 Lever Action Shotgun

serial #72672, 10 ga., 32" plain barrel choked full with a bright near excellent bore. The barrel and magazine tube have toned to a mixed gray and brown patina having scattered surface oxidation and clusters of pinprick pitting along the barrel. The frame has toned to a gray brown patina mixing with oxidation stains, left side still has a crisp intertwined W.R.A.Co logo. The buttstock has been checkered and refinished displaying just a few light handling marks. The smooth walnut forend panels rate very good displaying a few light dings and scratches over a flaking added varnish. The buttstock is fitted with a trap door buttplate which has toned to a pewter patina. The mechanism seems to function well mechanically. Winchester Model 1890 2nd Model Takedown Slide Action Rifle

serial #23416, 22 Short, 24" octagon barrel having a bright excellent bore. The barrel is an overall smooth gray patina having scattered oxidation stains and light pinprick pitting. The receiver has toned to a pleasing gray brown patina having the slightest traces of original case-hardened colors in the protected areas. The smooth walnut straight grip buttstock rates very good displaying a repaired chip on the comb line and a thin 2" hairline crack along at the rear of the forearm along with a few light dings over an added finish. The grooved forend rates near excellent displaying added finish. The buttstock is fitted with its original crescent steel buttplate which displays some light added blue finish which is toning gray. Ballard Sporting Rifle by Ball & Williams

Lot # 894 (Sale Order: 894 of 1029)      

serial #9201, .44 RF/percussion, 26 1/2" barrel with a very good bore which shows strong rifling but with minor oxidation and some scattered light pitting. The barrel is a mix of dark gray-blue fading original blue and a soft brown patina on the sharp edges, contact points and flaked areas, also with a minor handling mark here or there. The frame is a smoky pewter gray patina with sparse flaking to brown, more prominent on its right side, also with minor handling marks and some light scratches from the years. The lever is a similar pewter and brown patina with the breechblock and hammer matching the frame. The straight grip walnut buttstock rates very good with much original varnish, overall light dings and handling marks from the years, light flaking and some scuffing and raised grain in the area of the toe from exposure to the elements. There are two small cracks beginning at the rear of the upper tang. The forend with its iron tip is in a similar state of condition, showing perhaps a bit more wear and a 5" crack along its leading upper right edge. The gun seems to function properly and the breechblock is appropriately numbered to the gun. A very pleasing example overall of a dual ignition Ball & Williams Ballard. The case hardened trigger shows much of the original finish with some operational wear. The mother-of-pearl grips rate good plus with a few handling marks and two 1/4" cracks on the right panel. Remington Model 1900 Boxlock Double Shotgun

serial #128543, 16 Ga, 28" barrels choked cylinder on both sides with bright bores having a few light pits near the breech ends. The barrels display damascus twist patterning with tones of pewter brown with light oxidation stains; the frame exhibits a mottled light brown gray patina with some oxidation staining present. The checkered round knob pistolgrip buttstock and forend rate very good overall with numerous dings and scratches and a section on both sides of the butt that has been lightly cleaned. A piece of black rubber had been fitted on the back of the triggerguard toward the wrist. The length of pull to the bone buttplate is 14" with drops of 1 3/4" and 3". (177352-3) {C&R}

A.H. Fox Sterlingworth Boxlock Shotgun

Lot # 897 (Sale Order: 897 of 1029)      

serial #353739, 16 ga, 26" matted rib barrels choked modified and full with very good bores with scattered light pitting present. The barrels have been re-blacked and retain 90-92% finish with thinning in some areas and remnants of pinprick pitting. The frame, lever, triggerguard and tangs have toned to mottled pewter with hints of brown oxidation staining and remnants of pinprick pitting present as well as a simple border engraving surrounding all sides. The checkered walnut pistolgrip buttstock rates good-very good with some lightly added finish and scattered dings and dents from the years as well as a small chip at the toe, a 1" crack on the left side at the frame and a 2 1/4" repaired chip on the right side of the tang at the upper corner, with two finish nails aiding the strength of the repair and there is a crossbolt repair through the cheeks. The top of the wrist, at the rear of the upper tang, has a 1/2" chip and a 1" crack present; the wood is slightly proud of the metal. The forend rates very good displaying just a few light handling marks from years of use. The gun features double triggers, automatic safety and extractors. The length of pull to the black hard rubber recoil pad is 14 1/8" with drops of 1 3/4" and 3 1/4". A nice and lightweight Fox Sterlingworth worthy of upland game hunting or recreational shooting. Custom FN Bolt Action Sporting Rifle

serial #13074, 22-250, 23" heavy varmint Johnson Automatics barrel with a bright excellent bore with light frosting in the grooves. The metal surfaces retain 99% maker-applied high gloss blue and the barrel is maker marked in the middle. The bolt body and handle are honed bright and the bottom of the knob has been flattened and checkered. The underside of the receiver is marked "FN 1950". The custom checkered pistolgrip birds-eye maple Monte Carlo stock with checkered target forend rate excellent featuring a flared left side cheekpiece with light handling marks scattered about. The front sling swivel is missing and the barrel and ring are outfitted with steel target blocks. A Timney trigger has been installed and a Bishop rifle pad is affixed to the butt. U.S. Model 1860 Light Cavalry Saber by Boker

Lot # 900 (Sale Order: 900 of 1029)      

34 1/2" slightly curved blade with narrow and wide fullers marked on the reverse ricasso "HENRY BOKER / SOLINGEN". The blade is in very good condition with tiny chips and scratches along the edge from being lightly sharpened and has an overall gray patina with scattered patches of surface oxidation and staining, slightly more pronounced along the forte. The leather and wire wrapped grip rates about very good with light chipping and flaking, the wire remains intact and has loosened only slightly. The brass hilt with three branch guard rates very good plus having a mellow patina with tarnish along the branches and the leather washer dried but mostly intact. The steel scabbard has an overall brown patina with scattered oxidation staining, fine pinprick pitting and a few light dings. (57546-149) [Bleecker Williams Collection]
