The gun is stocked in a very nice ...moregrade of English walnut in the classic style, with a flared cheekpiece. The wrist features nice checkered panels while the forend has a wrap-around pattern. The grip cap is steel checkered Niedner style and there is a contrasting rounded rosewood forend tip. The butt wears a nice 1" Old English pad and there are two small cracks starting to the rear of the bottom metal at the guard screw; this is likely a bedding issue and should be easily rectified. Amenities include an express three leaf rear sight with banded sporting ramp front. The trigger is a commercial Jaeger fully adjustable model; the gun has been professionally drilled and tapped and has a set of Redfield scope bases with 1" rings installed. The bolt handle has been nicely bent for scope clearance and checkered and a low scope safety has been fitted. Rear base features a quick detachable lever for fast scope removal. While unsigned the quality of the workmanship is excellent. This is a fine, well made rifle that was built on a classic CZ Vz.24 action and is suitable for any dangerous game walking the planet.
