We are excited to offer some great items from this multi generational family farm.
This historic farm was purchased in 1864 by a family that traveled west on the Oregon Trail. The current house was built in 1913 by the owners. It was a showcase since it was one of the first in the area with indoor plumbing and electricity. There was a mill on the property for the house's lumber. It was a prosperous farm until the late 20's when the grandfather died in a farm accident, and the Great Depression intervened. The farm continued with hay, grain, dairy, poultry, and livestock. One barn was built in 1910 & termed "the horse barn" since horses were a big part of the farm. The "machine shed" was built later to house equipment and tools. The 1800's dairy barn survived until 2019.
Many of the items come from the original house, and the lots of rough cut wood were milled on site by the owners with their mill.
