2001 FORD F-150 LIGHTNING ROD CONCEPT TRUCK

This Lightning Rod Concept truck is coated in Cherry Red Metallic. Its powered by a Triton 5.4-liter V8 engine and a 4-speed automatic transmission. Stretched lowered and given a one-inch chop to its roofline this truck also includes twin horizontal neon headlamps that flank a recessed aluminum grille. It also sports a leather-wrapped tonneau cover that?s die-cut with a traditional tattoo of the native New Zealand Maori tribe. The vehicle runs and drives but is not DOT or EPA certified. 1956 FORD F-100 BIG-WINDOW CUSTOM PICKUP

This 1956 Ford F-100 big-window custom cab truck is a factory R-code from the San Jose plant where the majority of the trucks were produced back in 1956. This truck came with a long list of factory options including two sun visors dual armrests factory radio and speaker overdrive windshield washer with factory foot pump and a factory side-mounted spare tire. It is powered by a 272ci engine and a 3-speed manual transmission and has been completely restored with no expense spared from the hand polished and fully wrapped MagnaFlow exhaust to the complete black-and-white Connolly leather interior. The truck is sitting on a set of 17x8? Vogue tires with a set of painted and polish Smoothie rims. The black PPG paint is complemented by House of Kolor pigment-shifting metal flake scallops. The build of this hot-rod-style truck also comes with touches from the era like the handmade stainless trim under the big rear back window and the 1959 Cadillac frenched taillights. The engine was not overlooked and received the same period-correct touches like the original 3x2 Offenhauser carburetor set and the original Offenhauser valve covers. 1963 CHEVROLET IMPALA SS 409

This Palomar Red 1963 Chevrolet Impala SS 2-door hardtop has been given a full frame-off restoration and retains its original body panels and floors. Powering this Super Sport is a 409ci W-series big-block V8 engine that produces 340hp. The engine is mated to a Powerglide automatic transmission. At the top of that mill a heavy-duty single-snorkel air cleaner forced oxygen into a large 4-barrel carburetor. Fuel and air flow from there into a factory iron intake that?s bordered by factory Chevrolet heads and chromed factory valve covers. Everything under the hood has been restored and detailed. The restored interior features a full set of original floor mats vinyl upholstery bucket seats floor console with a floor-mounted chrome shifter and special SS door panel appliqu...s. There?s also a factory-installed tachometer on the dash a factory tissue dispenser under the glove box and a Delco AM/FM radio. Correct carpeting and headliner round out the interior details. The fully restored trunk carries a correct mat with a full-sized spare. The chassis is detailed and the car is equipped with power brakes and power steering. 1950 BUICK SUPER CONVERTIBLE

This 1950 Buick Super Convertible has the original 263/124hp straight-8 that is factory stock and backed by an automatic transmission. It features chrome wheel covers and wide whitewall tires as well as the original maroon leather seats in the front and the rear. Also included are matching maroon carpets in good condition a 110-mph speedometer horn and windshield wipers. The original AM tube radio is still in place as is the factory clock. It sports a brand-new canvas convertible top with the glass rear window. The factory wheels are finished in burgundy paint with chrome hubcaps and chrome trim rings both in good condition and correct. The trunk is show-detailed and carpeted. 1968 CHEVROLET C10 CUSTOM PICKUP

This 1968 Chevrolet C10 custom pickup has undergone a 15-month frame-off nut-and-bolt restoration and is now ready to hit the streets. It is an original short-bed 2-wheel-drive truck that came from Montana and was rust-free before the restoration was started. It was completely dismantled prior to body and paint work. Almost everything on this truck is either new or professionally restored. It is running a brand-new HRC 355ci Chevy engine backed by a freshly rebuilt 700R4 overdrive automatic transmission and was completely rewired with a new Painless wiring harness. It has rear coilovers with independent front suspension and 4-wheel disc brakes. It received all-new brake lines and fuel lines. Everything under and on this truck is new. It rides on new Budnik wheels wrapped in new Goodyear Eagle F1 tires. It was taken down to bare metal primed and blocked three times to make it laser-straight and painted in base coat/clear coat Ford Avalanche Gray and Stone White. It has been cut and polished for a show finish. The bed is finished in new oak wood and polished stainless strips. It has all-new brightwork including bumpers mirrors grille and bezels. The interior is completely refinished as well. The seat was completely stripped blasted and painted. It has new foam and a high-quality houndstooth upholstery and new carpet. 1963 CHEVROLET NOVA CUSTOM COUPE

This custom rotisserie-restored 1963 Chevrolet Nova features numerous modifications. It?s powered by a professionally built 1965 327ci with a SCAT crank 1968 Z/28 291 cylinder heads Competition Cam and roller rockers Edelbrock dual 4-barrel carburetors and intake and a polished aluminum radiator. Backing the engine is a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission and a 3.73 Eaton posi-traction rear end. This Nova is equipped with a CPP mini subframe powder-coated tubular A-arms 2 modular dropped spindles Viking adjustable coilovers custom power disc brakes and ceramic headers with stainless exhaust. It?s been mini tubbed with a factory look and the rear springs were moved 2 inward. The interior was fully restored and has all-new stock Aqua upholstery and a restored dash with Auto Meter tachometer and gauges. 1964 FORD FAIRLANE THUNDERBOLT RE-CREATION

Lot # 764.1 (Sale Order: 195 of 358)      

This 1964 Ford Fairlane Thunderbolt Re-creation is a great example of the original. The Ford Fairlane Thunderbolt is a limited production factory experimental drag racing automobile built by Ford in 1964. A total of 100 units were produced and enough to secure the 1964 NHRA Super Stock championship for Ford. The Thunderbolt was street legal and anyone could walk into a Ford dealer and buy their own factory drag car. This car was originally from Texas and had a very solid body which made it a perfect candidate for a Thunderbolt Re-creation. This car underwent a complete restoration with many correct features throughout. An organized binder of restoration photos and receipts is included. Parts and instructions were used from well-known Crites Restorations who specialize in Thunderbolt conversions. It retains all the original sheet metal with the exception of the bottom of the rear quarters and floors. The body is very straight and properly fitted with a fiberglass hood fiberglass fenders and fiberglass bumpers. The Wimbledon White paint is beautiful and dressed with era correct decals. All of the glass and trim work is in excellent condition. Some other correct features include the front twin air scoops that replace stock headlights front tow hooks one windshield wiper and rear window clips. The car sits on the correct steel disc 15? wheels with Continental front tires and Mickey Thompson rear tires. The tan interior has been completely restored and finished similar to the original. It has only one sun visor and no coat hooks or rear window regulators. Some of the restored features include the headliner dash gauges door panels hardware and rubber floor covering. It?s equipped with Econoline bucket seats seatbelts dash tachometer Hurst shifter and fire extinguisher. The trunk compartment is nicely detailed with a trunk mat and correct battery which provided better traction. The engine compartment is very detailed and finished similar to the original. The heart of this beast is a 390 FE V8 that was stroked to a 427ci V8. The engine was professionally built by R&R Performance and dyno tested at 404hp. It?s equipped with dual 4-barrel carburetors and correct air cleaner with Dearborn steel tubing. The engine is cooled by a Howe aluminum radiator. It breathes through the correct-style headers and 3? side exhaust with cutouts. The engine is coupled to a correct BorgWarner T10 4-speed manual transmission with a Proven Force clutch and Wilwood hydraulic assist. The power is transferred to the pavement through the Ford 9? rear end with 3:50 Trak-Loc differential. The undercarriage is very presentable with all-new suspension including the correct ladder bars. This car has been awarded the Ford Muscle Pick at the 2016 Goodguys Nostalgia Nationals and Best Special Interest at the 2018 Shelby American Automobile Club Motor City Show. This car was built to show but also to drive and enjoy. Roush Performance Shops and Speed Fanatix/Backdraft decided to do a special Roush-autographed version imprinted on the window. Backdraft calls it the Blackout Series with black ceramic exhaust and chromed engine parts such as valve covers water pump and pulleys as well as reflective engine bay panels and a custom-painted carbon-fiber dashboard. They added a 427ci V8 engine that puts out 550hp and 522 ft/lbs of torque. To enhance the car?s competitiveness the paint was totally upgraded keeping with the current color theme of red/black by Ashton Auto Group in Sarasota FL in 2014. The car has an MSD Blaster SS high-output coil with a 3.46 limited-slip differential with an automatic transmission allowing for easy access and set up for car competitions. Several car shows have recognized the Cobra and presented awards for Best in its Class with the last being the Festivals of Speed and Celebration car shows in 2014. **TITLED AS A 1965 ROADSTER**

1955 FORD F-100 CUSTOM PICKUP

This custom Ford F-100 underwent a three-year frame-off build with over 3800 man-hours committed. It is powered by a 351ci 8-cylinder Windsor engine that?s been bored .60 over with Pro Comp heads roller rockers and hydraulic lifters custom-coated Sanderson headers March pulley system polished aluminum radiator large electric fan and polished billet accessories. The engine is backed by a C4 3-speed automatic transmission with a shift kit. This pickup is equipped with a Helix Mustang II crossmember with tubular A-arms and Airtech air-ride front suspension 4-link adjustable coilover rear suspension and a Ford 8 rear end with 355 gears. It features upgrades to the chassis engine compartment and body. The back fenders have been stretched 2 to accommodate 18 Ridler wheels in the front and 20 Ridler wheels in the rear which are fit with Nexen tires. The exterior features red 2-stage DuPont Ford E-4 paint complemented by custom BMW 6-way tan leather seats tan wool carpet and a leather console with cup holders. It has power steering with a chrome tilt column billet half-wrapped steering wheel power windows power 4-wheel disc brakes and air conditioning. The Auto Meter white-faced Pro Comp instrument gauges are new and the bumpers and chrome bezels are new as well. The oak bed had a tint of red added to the clear lacquer to allow for a red reflection in the wood grain.
