1954 KAISER DARRIN CONVERTIBLE

Lot # 1297 (Sale Order: 77 of 248)      

Kaiser-Darrin sports cars were introduced in January 1954 and remained in production until June of the same year. Out of 435 ever produced this is body number 185. Its finished in correct Champagne White lacquer scarlet pincrush-style pleated leather seats with matching carpets and a landau folding convertible top. The car retains its original 161/90hp Willys L-head engine and 3-speed manual transmission. It has been completely restored with close attention to keeping it a factory-correct original. The all-fiberglass body was a creation of Glasspar a well-known manufacturer of fiberglass boats made in this period. Designed by none other than Howard Dutch Darrin this car was a beautifully designed one-of-a-kind vehicle. The most fascinating aspect of this car was Darrins beloved pocket doors which slid forward into the front fenders to permit easy entry and exit. They were the Kaiser-Darrin trademark and they remain its best-remembered feature. It has many unique features such as a small 14-slot chrome grille chrome wire-spoke wheels Lucite wind wings a dash-mounted rearview mirror and floor shifter. This is a an extremely unique vehicle with low production numbers and intricate details.

1968 PLYMOUTH BARRACUDA SS/AA FACTORY CAR

This factory Super Stock SS/AA is one of only 70 cars equipped with the HEMI V8 engine. It has automatic transmission and factory fiberglass fenders. With the original Build Sheet this has been in the same family for the past 30 years. 1969 PONTIAC TRANS AM RAM AIR III

This 1969 Pontiac Trans Am Ram Air III has undergone a show-quality rotisserie nut-and-bolt restoration done to extremely high show standards. A genuine factory-produced 1969 Pontiac Trans Am Ram Air III this is one of 697 produced and one of 520 produced with a 4-speed manual transmission. The car is powered by its matching-numbers 400ci Ram Air III engine and matching-numbers Muncie 4-speed manual transmission. This car was completely disassembled and stripped to bare metal. The subframe was removed and the entire drivetrain was rebuilt. It features a laser-straight body with great gaps and is finished in its correct color of Cameo White. Careful care was given to make sure that the twin blue stripes were properly placed and tied together with its correct blue bucket-seat interior. Features include power steering and front power disc brakes front and rear spoilers and Rally wheels with Goodyear Polyglas tires. Great attention to detail was given throughout its restoration using as many correct parts as possible right down to its assembly-line markings and part-number decals to its dated plug wires T-3 headlights and correct hoses and clamps. Its accompanied with all PHS paperwork and PHS Window Sticker documenting its pedigree.

1970 CHEVROLET NOVA YENKO DEUCE

This documented genuine Yenko Deuce Nova has been treated to a high-caliber no-expense-spared rotisserie nut-and-bolt restoration. Its an outstanding example. It is listed as car number HYS 141 on the Yenko delivery sheets and is one of 175 total produced. Its finished in the rare springtime-only color of Citrus Green. Its powered by a correct-dated and stamped COPO 9010-optioned 350/360hp LT1 restoration engine backed to a correct-dated and stamped Muncie M21 4-speed manual restoration transmission. Its factory equipped with the COPO 9737 sport-car conversion package consisting of the heavy-duty F41 suspension and sway bar and 4:10 posi-traction hooked to a 12-bolt rear end. The laser-straight body with show-quality paint features a fully detailed underside with all-correct inspection markings and decals as well as show-quality chrome and stainless. The fully detailed trunk is equipped with the correct jack and spare XT rim and tire. Many original and NOS parts were used during the restoration including the four Atlas wheels. Its fully documented with its VIN on the Yenko delivery sheets listed in the Yenko Deuce Registry and NCRS Data Shipping Report (showing Yenko as the selling dealer). It was a past feature car on Yenko.net a feature car in Muscle Car Review magazine featured in Super Chevy magazine and also featured in the hardcover book Yenko: The Man the Machines the Legend by Bob McClurg. This example still retains its original Trim Tag and hidden VIN numbers along with a breakdown of all its mechanicals with part numbers and date codes. This Yenko has been with its last owner for over 17 years.

1959 CHEVROLET IMPALA CONVERTIBLE

A beautiful fully restored 1959 Chevrolet Impala Convertible one of the best of the best. It includes the highly desirable factory-installed 348ci Tri-Power Turbo-Thrust V8 engine and 2-speed Turboglide automatic transmission. It has received a recent factory-correct body-off nut-and-bolt restoration by none other than the acknowledged master Patricks Classy Cars of Phoenix AZ. This stunning vehicle is painted Tuxedo Black and features the proper Seville grain red vinyl tri-tone interior. It also features the highly desirable twin rear antennas. 1959 Impalas were longer lower and wider with ultra-wide horizontal fins. The rear end also features the one-year-only cat-eye taillights. This car is equipped with power steering power brakes and those highly desirable distinctive twin rear antennas. During the restoration the engine and transmission were completely rebuilt. All mechanical parts including the wiring brake system weatherstripping exhaust pipes and mufflers were replaced. The car was fitted with new whitewall tires brakes and suspension components to factory specifications. The glass convertible top and top boot are all new and correct. The bumpers and stainless-steel trim were stripped and rechromed or repolished. The wheel covers are also new. The entire restoration process was carefully documented in a photographic journal that comes with the car. Driven just 6 miles since restoration.

1970 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE LS6

This car is equipped with an M22 Rock Crusher 4-speed manual transmission and 12-bolt posi-traction rear axle with 4:10 gears. It features the original matching-numbers engine with three factory Build Sheets (one is still attached to the original drivers side door panel). It also has a Build Sheet Certificate of Authenticity from Chris White. The original VIN and Trim Tags are in place and were never removed. Its finished in Cranberry Red with a black bucket-seat interior. Its accrued only test miles since its well-documented comprehensive nut-and-bolt rotisserie restoration in 2013 which included a complete engine rebuild. 1970 PLYMOUTH BARRACUDA CUSTOM CONVERTIBLE

This Barracuda custom re-creation has been upgraded with the legendary 426ci HEMI motor TorqueFlite 727 automatic transmission power front disc brakes power steering and a power-operated white vinyl soft-top. Originally this car was red on white with a 318ci V8 with an automatic transmission. It is now red on black. It has a slap-stick shifter 3.23 gear rear rubber bumper and a Shaker hood. It sits on 15 Rallye wheels with the original Polyglas tires. It has the correct HEMI radiator new wiring pulleys hoses bolts fuel lines linkage and brake booster. From manifolds to tips the exhaust is correct for a HEMI. Every nut and bolt on the drivetrain is either new or rebuilt with correct Mopar components. This car has been decoded by Galen Govier and is in the Chrysler Registry. It has been professionally restored as a HEMI re-creation.

This is an over-the-top no-expenses-spared high-quality build of a very iconic hot rod. Its impeccably finished in mile-deep Black Apple paint with maroon striping and custom gold-leaf accents. It is equipped with a Probuilt 354ci Chrysler HEMI with aluminum hot heads BDS blower Hilborn Electronic fuel injection with fast EFI control system by Hot Racing. Power is delivered through a pro-built TH400 3-speed automatic transmission. There are countless hand-fabricated parts including the front grille exhaust taillights body frame and wishbone front suspension to the custom leather interior dash and interior panels. 1962 CHEVROLET CORVETTE CUSTOM ROADSTER

This dynamite Corvette is a highly modified 1962 C1 Corvette and previous winner of the Chicago Chevy Vette Fests Diamond and Gold Bow Tie award as well as second place at the 2012 National Corvette Homecoming. It runs on a Street Shop mandrel-framed chassis with independent rear suspension and 4-wheel disc brakes. Power comes from a 350ci Ram-Jet crate engine connected to a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission. The engine also features a chrome intake manifold with ram-air induction and K&N filters. Customized fuel rail covers are sculpted to replicate the flames and color in the cove of the body. The engine compartment is protected by dual temperature activated Halon fire extinguishers. A Dan Christiansen custom exhaust set-up with Borla dual square-angle-cut intercooled tips provide a deep distinctive sound. The interior features custom leather seats by Al Knoch Interiors with special embossing and matching leather steering wheel. Air conditioning power windows and locks custom pedals Auto Sport gauges and 3 point racing harness complete the interior. The two side coves were sculpted with 3-D flames and red LED lightbars were installed to emphasize the shadow of the flames. The dual headlight fenders were removed and reversed to have a slight down slope that looks similar to a double-barreled shotgun. The rear body was widened by 4 to accommodate the 18 Budnik X-Series wheels with Goodyear Eagle F1 GS tires. Cibie HCR flat headlights and Hellas with backlit skull frame complete the body. The car has a new convertible top and custom cloth car cover. **TITLED AS REBUILT**

1955 CHEVROLET BEL AIR CUSTOM CONVERTIBLE

This incredible classic has gone through an extensive rotisserie-style restoration and is finished in custom painted black over a black leather interior. Completed in 2008 the multi-year build was heavily documented and photographed with two binders included. It has traveled 1991 miles since completion of the restoration. This award-winning Bel Air Resto-Mod features a number of modern conveniences while still retaining the classic look sitting on a custom GT-55 Art Morrison chassis and powered by a Chevrolet Corvette LS2 V8. It also features a special-built 4L65E automatic transmission with RV transmission cooler 9 rear end with 3.50 gears and dual-exit exhaust system. The 17x8 and 18x10 Boyd Coddington 5-spoke wheels are wrapped in Falken tires and equipped with Wilwood disc brakes. The custom charcoal and black leather interior features floor mats a 15 steering wheel on an Ididit column Vintage Air tinted power windows power doors power windows and a Kenwood stereo head unit with iPod connectivity. The gas cap is hidden behind the automated drivers side taillight. It has a black power convertible soft-top black tonneau cover an alarm system with fob and keyless entry. Always meticulously serviced and maintained this car received an oil change and transmission fluid service on June 20 2016.

1957 PONTIAC CHIEFTAIN CUSTOM HARDTOP

With 3000 man-hours no expense spared and just over 300 miles since completion this stunning multiple-award-winning Eric Brockmeyer-designed Pontiac has been handcrafted to the very highest of show standards. Powered by a 572/720hp high-output crate motor its fitted with GM Performance polished heads chrome intake custom valve covers and air cleaner. Its also equipped with MSD ignition custom 2-1/4 headers and 3 stainless exhaust custom polished aluminum radiator with dual electric fans and custom fuel cell all mated to a GM 4L80E programmable 4-speed automatic transmission. It also has custom 3 balanced and polished aluminum driveshaft and Currie-built Ford 9 posi-traction rear differential with polished aluminum center and nodular iron third member with 4:10 gears and 31-spline axles. It features a custom-built Roadster Shop full frame chassis Heidts Superide independent front suspension and triangulated 4-bar coilover rear suspension. Other features include the rack & pinion power steering and Wilwood 13 6-piston front and 11.9 4-piston rear brakes with polished calipers. It rides on stunning staggered Schott Accelerator concave aluminum wheels accented in black velvet ceramic paint with three-bar knockoffs wrapped in P Zero Rosso tires. The laser-straight rust-free body was taken to bare metal and finished with PPG two-stage black paint with red accents. All of the exterior trim and hardware has been chrome-plated and polished to show-quality standards. 1957 FORD FAIRLANE CUSTOM SEDAN

Inspired by the legendary Ford Thunderbolts Project T-Bolt packs a Holman-Moody Genesis 427ci side-oiler with Roush internal parts to generate a pavement-melting 657hp. Breathing through a custom side exhaust and cooled by an aluminum radiator the 427s massive power and torque are sent to the street with a Hurst-shifted Ford Toploader 4-speed manual transmission driving a Ford 9 rear end. Underpinnings include Ridetech air springs with tubular arms up front and triangulated 4-link setup out back. Stopping power is delivered by a set of 4-wheel disc brakes with red calipers. Other outstanding features include an Ididit steering column Classic Instrument gauges Vintage Air and a fully carpeted trunk. An Alpine CD/DVD player provides further entertainment. 1968 DODGE HEMI CHARGER R/T

In 2006 this original 4-speed HEMI1968 Charger R/T was discovered in its original owners garage in Cleveland OH in completely original condition with 91000 miles still carrying its original engine transmission and rear end. One of only 211 4-speed HEMI Chargers built in 1968 this one has undergone a concours restoration. Its equipped with dual 4-barrel carburetors. Its finished in rare and gorgeous silver and black as delivered in 1968. A very nice and very detailed 1968 R/T HEMI 4-speed car. 1969 DODGE CHARGER CUSTOM COUPE

One of one this is not just a V10 Viper engine in a Charger but a Viper chassis thats been lengthened 21-3/4 and had a Charger built around it. It features a modified Viper dash and console custom leather interior and seats and body panel fit. Its been repainted and has custom exhaust and mechanical assembly. Under the hood the engine and firewall are set back. Its powered by an 8.0-liter 7990cc (488ci) V10 overhead valve engine that is naturally aspirated. Underneath the Charger is the lengthened Viper undercarriage that matches the B-body of the Charger. The chassis and extended drivetrain is all 2002 Viper from there. With the engine basically in the center of the car this handles like a dream. Inside a Viper cockpit the custom interior is clean fitted to mold the Viper dash into the Charger interior. At the center of the cockpit bucket seats stitched with Chiper on the back red seats. The center tunnel goes from front to back and houses the exhaust. The soft black carpet matches the stock Charger headliner like it just rolled out of the factory custom interior. It has modern heat and air conditioning all power windows and custom bucket seats front and back. The paint job is second to none in Deep Black Glasurit 22-line single-stage urethane.

1970 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE LS6

Special-order COPO LS6 454/450hp in rare Mulsanne Blue code 26. Its equipped with a factory M22 4-speed manual transmission and its original CRW 4.10 posi rear end. Some of the highlighted factory born-with options include LS6 M22 4.10 G80 ZP3 special paint RPO-ZL2 cowl induction hood RPO-U14 gauges RPO-D88 white sport stripes and code 790 White/Ivory interior. This car was purchased new at Bob Hallman Chevrolet in Reno NV and remained in the area until 2013 when a full comprehensive factory correct rotisserie restoration was started. This is an absolutely rock solid original southwest car with one of the best undercarriages you can find. The vehicle has been painstakingly restored to original Chevrolet specs with extreme attention to detail. The car was selected as a finalist for the Goodguys 2016 Muscle Car of the Year. The car comes with its original born with Build Sheet that was found on top of gas tank and Certificate of Registration with the LS6 registry.

1967 CHEVROLET CORVETTE 427/435 CONVERTIBLE

Lot # 1311 (Sale Order: 94 of 248)      

This fine example of a 427/435hp Corvette was completely disassembled with a body-off no-expense-spared restoration performed. Supervision of the restoration was done by an NCRS Master Judge at one of the most famous Corvette restoration shops in New York. All parts used were either original or NOS factory parts. There is full photo documentation of the entire restoration. Finished in Goodwood Green with Saddle vinyl interior non-original Trim Tag white convertible top white stinger whitewall tires and a 3.70 ratio posi-traction rear axle. Powered by an L71 427/435hp Tri-Power engine with transistor ignition and M21 4-speed close-ratio manual transmission. It also has heavy-duty suspension power brakes power steering side-mounted exhaust tinted glass AM/FM radio and auxiliary vinyl-covered hardtop.

2004 FERRARI 360 CHALLENGE STRADALE

The Ferrari Challenge Stradale marked the final 360 model and it was the highest-performance street-legal variant of the series with cutting-edge race-bred features. They included carbon-ceramic brakes derived from the Enzo race-tuned suspension aerodynamic tweaks reduced weight increased engine output to 420hp and updated software for the F1 6-speed gearbox. The Challenge Stradale is simply amazing and a thrill to drive. This example has only 14015 actual miles the annual service was completed by Ferrari Technologies in Orange CA. The clutch life was measured with over 70% remaining. The vehicle has been meticulously maintained and stored in a climate-controlled facility.

1965 VOLKSWAGEN TYPE II 21-WINDOW DELUXE BUS

This 1965 VW 21-window deluxe bus has undergone a complete professional restoration by Kindig-it Design and has been featured on Velocity Channels Bitchin Rides. The body metal has been restored to a high level of quality and body paint is outstandingly finished in Mercedes Black and Bentley Magnolia White. The interior is custom red performed by Sew Fine while the engine is a very streetable 1915cc with 120hp and 4-speed transaxle. It has front and rear Airkewld disc and custom 17 wheels. The Kicker car audio is awesome and hidden throughout the cabin. All windows are safari and pop-outs finished in chrome.

1957 JAGUAR XK 140 MC FIXED-HEAD COUPE

The sellers father purchased this car in 1979 out of a barn. This was a 100% complete car with all-original drivetrain. The painstaking restoration took 20 years. With a concours-level restoration it has original chrome rims with stainless-steel spokes. All interior wood is in its original finish. The body has been restored with no expense spared to achieve concours-excellence finish. All-original or NOS Jaguar parts were used in this restoration. The sellers father flew to Coventry England in the early 1980s to acquire NOS parts needed for the restoration. The buyer will receive all parts receipts restoration pictures and documentation. It is powered by a 3.4-liter engine with the original C-type cylinder head and 4-speed manual transmission.

1951 JAGUAR XK 120 CONVERTIBLE

This is finished in red over a refinished interior that included all-new black leather over the seats/dash and new carpet - completed in April 2015. Complementing the new interior is the matching-numbers 3.4-liter 6-cylinder engine that was overhauled in November 2010 along with the mechanical and cosmetic restoration. It is wired as a 12-volt system with two parallel 6-volt batteries and has a 4-speed manual transmission. Exterior features include polished silver-painted wheels convertible soft-top windshield wipers and fender mirrors. Included with the vehicle is a Jaguar Heritage Certificate exclusive to the car side windows with carrying bags and a tonneau cover. Recently serviced including fluids/filter as well as a new battery.
