1960 CHEVROLET APACHE PICKUP

Lot # 720.1 (Sale Order: 152 of 347)      

This 1960 Apache prototype Service Truck was originally built to show GM and AT&T what a factory service truck could be. While many of its features did end up in the actual service truck production but the prototype never made it into production. This Apache is equipped with side glass panels that displayed products and a fully-restored pull-behind matching generator. It is powered by a 300ci 6-cylinder engine and 3-speed manual transmission. 1964 PONTIAC GTO CONVERTIBLE

This GTO convertible was originally built on July 30 1964 and is one of 6644 that were built that year. It is powered by a rebuilt 389ci 8-cylinder engine that was upgraded to Tri-Power induction and backed by a rebuilt console-console shifted automatic transmission. It features rebuilt brakes and suspension new exhaust system and restored chrome and trim. The interior was completely restored with all of its trim intact and the top was replaced in 2007. The undercarriage was upgraded with larger front and rear sway bars. Included with this GTO are several original documents including the original invoice owners manual Protector Plan manual convertible top manual and Pontiac Ident-O-Plate.

1932 FORD CUSTOM ROADSTER

This custom 1932 Ford Roadster was built with a completely boxed SO-CAL reproduction ?32 frame Be Bops body steel hood and deck lid and Brookville Roadster steel fenders. It is powered by a GM 350ci V8 crate engine with triple 2-barrel carburetors on an Edelbrock intake manifold and Walker radiator backed by a Turbo 350 automatic transmission. It is equipped with Currie rear axles and housing with stock Ford open differential and 2.72 gears large Mercury rear drum brakes chrome and stainless steel ?32 reproduction front suspension with a straight axle with disc brakes GM chrome-plated calipers frame-mounted hairpins and Posies Superglide springs. This custom was rewired with a Haywire wiring system and features a Vintage Air heating and cooling system that is missing the air conditioning hoses but has all other components including a polished Sanden compressor and engine brackets. It was finished in 2006 Toyota Metallic Red with pearl paint and has a Labaron Bonney top on polished stainless steel top irons.

1971 DODGE CHALLENGER CUSTOM R/T RE-CREATION

Lot # 723 (Sale Order: 157 of 347)      

This 1971 Dodge Challenger custom R/T re-creation is a California car with a newly rebuilt 383ci V8 engine that pushed a 4-speed 833 manual transmission. The entire car has recently undergone a complete restoration. Every part has been gone through the transmission just had new oil and a new high-end clutch kit was installed. The engine has less than 300 miles since the build and the rest of the car has 17700 original miles (mileage not indicated on title). Most of the parts are new but original parts were used whenever possible. It has a new carburetor fuel tank and sending units and new long-tube headers with 2.5? exhaust. The emergency brake cable is also new. It has rebuilt front disc brake calipers and rear drum brakes. The only body panels replaced were the sill plates and a new trunk pan has been welded in. This car was stripped and painted its original ?71 Challenger Green Go and has the ?71 Challenger blacked-out R/T hood and matte black R/T stripes. It has new weatherstripping windshield back window and window trim. The engine wiring harness is new as are the front headlight harness engine electrical components and speedometer cable. This car has an all-new black interior including new center console interior front door panels rear interior quarter panels and package tray carpet black vinyl seat covers bucket seat foam trunk mat window cranks and lock buttons. This custom re-creation R/T rolls on a new set of staggered Foose wheels and new NITO tires.

1965 SHELBY COBRA RE-CREATION

This Cobra re-creation is the result of a seven-year professional build that began in July 1997 and completed in January 2004. It has a long list of options that are typically omitted on these builds including a well-fitting tonneau cover and a folding canvas top with sliding side glasses. It has a rectangular tube frame with front and rear suspension alignments. It is powered by a Ford small block V8 engine with a 5-speed manual transmission and stops with power disc brakes. It has all required lighting including hazard flashers. Other options on this build include a tilt steering column with mahogany steering wheel chrome bumpers and guards chrome side pipes windshield wipers sun visors wind wings fender mounted chrome bullet mirrors dual decorative roll bars heater and defroster JVC stereo system knock-off wheels a complete gauge set with black faces and chrome bezels and remote trunk release. It has a Certificate of Origin 2127 actual miles and one owner until 2016. This Willys Overland half-ton pickup underwent a high-caliber restoration by Willys America of Cazadero CA and its all-steel body was finished in its correct 1940 Regina Gray paint with new bumpers glass and trim. It is powered by a period-correct 134ci 4-cylinder Flathead engine and T84 3-speed manual transmission. Its fully reupholstered interior features a factory correct steering wheel and steering column and the whole thing rides on Defender Blue steel wheels wrapped in Coker Classic radial tires and new leaf springs.

1970 PONTIAC GTO RAM AIR

Lot # 730 (Sale Order: 164 of 347)      

This original two owner matching-numbers 1970 GTO Ram Air III was assembled in the Fremont CA plant and shipped to Bob Longpre Pontiac in Westminster CA on June 23 1970. The original owner took delivery of the vehicle on October 18 1970. It is powered by a 400ci 8-cylinder engine with 4-barrel carburetor and automatic transmission. While it retains all of its original chrome it was repainted in 2007 in Baja Gold and the engine compartment was professionally restored in 2009. It features original air conditioning factory deluxe steering wheel power brakes and steering dual exhaust and chrome wheel covers and its leather interior is in excellent condition. This original GTO is registered in the Pontiac Historical Society and comes with its original dealer Protect-O-Plate extensive maintenance records and the original Bill of Sale. A copy of the September 1969 press release is also included in the extensive file maintained by the owner including mention of the revolutionary windshield-embedded radio antenna which was featured on all 1970 Pontiac models. This is a great car with well documented history.

1961 FORD STARLINER

The Starliner was only made for two years from 1960-61. This example has undergone a complete ground-up restoration on a very rare body style. It features all-new NOS gauges clock and trim including the complete and correct wiring harness from front to back. Most everything on this car was replaced with NOS parts or new correct parts collected for years for this car before it was built. It?s powered by a completely rebuilt correct 390ci engine with Edelbrock heads roller rockers high-pressure-volume oil pump Speed Pro pistons Crane cam Edelbrock intake and carburetor. The C6 automatic transmission was completely rebuilt. The interior was replaced with correct NOS materials including the headliner. Finished in new correct-color two-stage PPG Algiers Bronze paint all the exterior trim is NOS or new replacement. Documentation includes a full album of over $40000 in receipts. Only driven to car to events this car is fun to drive and runs and drives great.

1969 CHEVROLET NOVA

This 1969 Chevrolet Nova is the result of a 7-year rotisserie Resto-Mod build that was finished in beautiful Lazer Blue custom PPG paint and boasts a 502ci Ram Jet big block engine. The engine compartment has every available chrome option including ceramic coated headers large aluminum radiator and Vintage Air. The engine is backed by a programmable 4L80E fan-cooled automatic transmission and puts out just the right amount of growl through the full 3 Magna-Flow exhaust. The power is transferred to the road through a Ford 9 390 ratio D.P.I locker rear end held in place by a full 4-link coilover suspension and Hotchkis sway bar system. Stopping power is provided by an Aerospace Components 4-wheel disc brake system. The rigid design has a fully-integrated cage system with wheel tubs to wonderfully tuck the 19 Chip Foose wheels on new rubber. The full custom leather interior features Dakota Digital gauges Alpine Stereo and a remote controlled Alpine Security System.

With the addition of the supercharger to the 5.7-liter 8-cylinder engine and 6-speed manual transmission this Z06 now puts out 605hp. This custom GMC 100 series pickup has undergone a frame-off rotisserie restoration during which time the exterior was completely sand-blasted before it was finished in new two-tone blue and white paint. It features custom front fenders a custom aluminum barrier under the wood in the bed Billet aluminum hood hinges a custom stainless steel grille custom trailer hitch with wiring fiber glass bed cover custom taillights and power mirrors. It rides on Foose Legend series wheels. The interior features power bucket seats custom leather center console with cup holders Ididit steering wheel keyless ignition with FOB alarm system Vintage Air Gen 2 Hay-Wire street rod electrical system VDO gauges power windows locks and antenna Rockford Fosgate amplifier with Alpine speakers and a Clarion CD player. This custom pickup is powered by an internally balanced 4-bolt splayed Chevy 406ci small block engine with Edlebrock aluminum heads and a built 700R4 stage 2 automatic transmission. It has been upgraded with an Edlebrock intake manifold Holly 750 Street Avenger carburetor MSD 6AL2 distributor and an MSD Blaster2 coil. The engine has been dyno tested and puts out 511.9ft/lbs. of torque at 4400 RPM and 511.2hp at 6000 RPM. This really is a very unique highly customized street rod. This truck also has a Camaro front clip on it.
