Rolling Block .45-70 rifle was built on a Remington patent action by Numrich Arms, Buffalo model. Heavy octagon barrel is 28" and has a bright bore with sharp rifling. Hardwood stocks are decent with a hairline crack on each side of the forearm near front and a tight crack at toe of butt stock. Bluing is decent with some discoloration extending a couple of inches down from muzzle, possible from a bore cleaner. Crescent brass butt plate is well-fitted and would polish up nicely. Action is smooth and tight. Rear sight folds down, front sight has a light brass or dark nickel insert. Bet this rifle is a lot of fun to shoot. Comes with a padded lockable hard case.

Stocks are sound, but have been cut and varnished, could be fixed up or might be a good candidate for re-stocking. Bluing is uniform throughout and is worn white at high spots and edges. Top left of receiver has been drilled and tapped for scope mount. Screw slots are fair to good. Action is smooth and bolt locks back as it should. Trigger is decent. Stamped code at left of barrel breech is KTT. Bottom tang has some peen marks. Have some fun and get this gun back in the woods.
