J. Stevens Crack Shot-26 falling block .22 rifle, patent April 22, 1913. This cute little rifle is nicer than most we see. Receiver screws look original and are in decent condition. Stocks are tight, forearm has a delightful patina as does the butt stock. Chip at the bottom tang and an old tight crack at the top tang. Original steel butt plate stands a little proud. 20" barrel has gone mostly plum, and has a decent bore with good rifling. Half cock and full cock hold. Front sight is brass. Sweet little rifle.
