Early Nazi Proofed Czech ZB 26 Semi Auto Rifle

Lot # 303 (Sale Order: 303 of 600)

Up Next is Another Unbelievable Piece of Machinery! Here We Have a Very Rare Early Nazi Proofed and Spanish Army Marked Czech ZB 26 with a 3 Cut Reweld Converted to Semi Automatic Chambered in 8MM Mauser. It Comes With a Heavy Bipod, One 20 Round Magazine, in a Heavy Duty Metal Case. This is a rare example of a pre-war ZB 26 manufactured at the Brunn factory in Czechoslovakia. More of these were manufactured for export than were actually manufactured for the Czech military. Under Nazi occupation starting in 1939, these continued to be manufactured as the MG 26 (t) for use by the German military. This series of weapon was originally designed by Vaclav Holek in 1924 and was later assigned the ZB vz. 26 based on the year of adoption. It was an extremely well-designed weapon that proved to be very reliable, so much so it was heavily used by the Germans throughout the war, and it was copied by British in 1935 and chambered in .303 and was commonly called the Bren Gun. This weapon had a very long and successful career being eventually used in over 20 countries around the world to include China. It uses a gas operated, piston/operating rod system firing from an open bolt. It had several very distinguishing features; it had a quick change barrel, the barrel has circular cooling rings on the outside, it uses a detachable box magazine that mounted directly on top of the receiver, and it has off-set sights which are mounted on the left side of the gun, so that you can see around the magazine. The sights are calibrated "2-15" (200-1500 meters). The left side of the receiver is marked: "WAFFENWERKE BRUNN/A.G.", and the right side is marked "ZB 26 No1313". The top of the receiver has a large Spanish Army eagle crest over serial number "1313" over a double Waffenamt proof of "WaA63". It is fitted with a walnut buttstock and pistol grip. The stock has a heavy stamped, cupped buttplate. Overall in Great Wartime Condition.

Johnson Automatic Model 1941 Semi-Automatic Rifle

Lot # 312 (Sale Order: 312 of 600)

Up Next We Have a Beautiful Johnson Automatic Model 1941 Semi-Automatic Rifle Chambered in .30-06 With The Short Grip and Bipod. This is an example of a WWII Model 1941 Johnson Semi-Automatic Rifle. This rifle was seriously considered by the U.S. Army and Marine Corps as an alternative to the M1 Garand Rifle in 1941. Although the Army never officially adopted the Johnson rifle, after the fall of the Dutch East Indies to Japan in 1942, some of the Dutch contract rifles were obtained by the Marine Corps as a war expedient model that were subsequently issued to the Marine Parachute and Raider Battalions for use in the early island hopping campaign in the South Pacific in 1943. The Johnson rifle has several unique features, two of them being that they have a removable barrel for easy storage in a parachute jump bag and the second being that their rotary magazine, which held ten rounds, could be easily topped off with either single or multiple rounds before or during a battle; something that the M1 Garand rifle did not have the capability to do. The receiver is marked with the standard five line patent dates followed by the four line "JOHNSON AUTOMATICS/MODEL OF 1941" logo, address and the serial number "B6118". A circled five-pointed star and "CRANSTON/ARMS/CO." in a triangle are marked on the right side of the receiver below the rear sight. The rear sight is Lyman marked. This rifle is complete with a WWII style unmarked leather sling with steel keepers. This Beautiful Rifle Comes in a Padded Metal Riflecase.

Vihtavuori 3N37 Powder 4LB SEALED Bottle

Lot # 322 (Sale Order: 322 of 600)

Vihtavuori 3N37 Powder 4# Vihtavuori’s 3N37 handgun powder was originally developed for .22 rimfire cartridges, but has since proven to be very versatile and desirable within all competitive handgun shooting disciplines. The 3N37 is tubular, porous powder type with grain dimensions of 0,6 mm length and 0,6 mm diameter. The symmetrical grain size makes metering a breeze in powder measures. The burning rate of the 3N37 is close to N350 and on the medium scale of our handgun powders. This is an excellent powder for 9 mm major loads for IPSC open competitions and it’s very popular in USPSA and IPSC practical pistol shooting disciplines. In addition to practical shooting, 3N37 is also widely used as a submachine gun powder. As all of our powders, 3N37 offers consistent, extreme precision, with clean burning – and that is why it is used by the best shooters in the world. Interesting fact: 3N37 was used back in the 1940’s by Sako for loading 9mm submachine gun cartridges. You must be 18 years or older to buy this item.
