Upon request, we will reimburse you for any fees involved in obtaining a money order, cashier's check, or a wire transfer (up to $30). • This auction will be conducted LIVE on-line through Proxibid. • Lots are described to the best of our ability using over 40 years of experience. If a bidder has any questions about a lot, they are invited to contact the auction company for detailed descriptions or personal opinions of individual lots. • All Proxibid bidders must be pre-approved before they can bid. In most cases, the approval process is automatic. Occasionally, manual intervention is required, and approvals will be handled as quickly as possible. It is possible that requests just prior to or during the live auction may not receive timely attention, so please register as early as possible. If your registration is declined, please contact Proxibid for a reason. • Indiana sales tax (7%) applies to purchases delivered to Indiana addresses who do not have a sales tax exemption. • All lots are sold “AS IS” with no warranties. Sales are final with no returns except for reason of authenticity (proof of non-authenticity by either PCGS or NGC is required) or gross description error. There are no returns for disagreements regarding grade. Before a claim for a return for reason of authenticity or gross description error is made, the buyer must contact us within 30 days of the auction date. No returns may be made if notice has not been given to us within this time frame. Any and all costs related to third party authentication shall be borne by the buyer. However, we will reimburse the buyer - up to $50 - in the event that the item is determined to not be authentic. There shall be no reimbursement of any expenses to the buyer in the event the item is determined to be authentic. • We go to great efforts to ensure that all lots are described accurately and thoroughly, and that detailed photos are provided to assist our bidders. • While we make every effort to provide clear and accurate photographs as well as an experienced opinion of grade and description, we DO NOT guarantee the grade or condition of any item. We strongly encourage interested bidders to view lots and/or ask questions about any lot(s) of interest prior to the auction. We use the U.S. Postal Service for shipping. Using our extensive experience, we estimate shipping and insurance costs on invoices sent out after the auction. We are very conservative, as we do not want to overcharge our buyers. If you have questions about shipping options or costs, please contact us and we will be happy to assist you. • Capitol Coin Auctions shall be neither financially nor legally responsible for any problems a bidder may experience with any electronic equipment or Proxibid software that may constrain or prohibit online bidding. In the event that you experience problems with online bidding, we ask that you please contact Proxibid. • Sellers are prohibited from bidding on their own lots. However, sellers do reserve the right to place reserves on any of their lots prior to the auction. On average, less than 2% of lots in our auctions carry reserves. • In case of a dispute during the auction, the decision of the Auctioneer is final. As is common practice, tie bids will usually be ruled in favor of the on-site floor bidder. • Capitol Coin Auctions reserves the right to deny bidding privileges and/or to cancel the registration and bids of any bidder at its sole discretion if we have reason to believe that the bidder is not bidding in good faith or has no intentions of paying for their lots. By registering as a bidder, you affirm that: (1) the personal information you provide is accurate, (2) you are at least 18 years of age or older and are legally capable of entering into a legal contract, (3) the credit card information you provide is accurate and current, and (4) you will pay for any lot(s) you win in the auction. • While we make every attempt to point out any issues we see with an item, Capitol Coin Auctions makes no warranties or representations: a) that any item has or has not been cleaned, mishandled, damaged, repaired, tooled, etc.; b) that any item is gradable or will achieve a certain grade by any third party grader; or, c) that any item has a particular provenance. The Bidder agrees that grading is subjective and that an item's grade has a material effect on value; that others may differ with the grading opinions or interpretations of third party graders, Capitol Coin Auctions, or others; and that such difference of opinion is not grounds for return, refund, exchange, or price adjustment. As an accommodation to Bidders, Capitol Coin Auctions may announce and/or present the grade and/or description of a third party grading service and/or provide its own description and/or opinion of grade without any warranty or guarantee whatsoever.
