Metal surfaces with scattered light corrosion. Grips need adjustment as the inner edge does not close completely. Barrel and action remain tight, bore is very good. 2.) Long Barrel No. 2 MK. 5, #046609, 5-3/4'' flared barrel, 25mm cal., black finish, grooved plastic grips, with lanyard loop. Condition is very good showing normal signs of age and wear, including scuffs, scratches, and some losses to painted finish. Plastic grips are excellent and show only light marks from handling. Action is tight, bore is very good. 3.) #105581, 3-3/8'' barrel, 25mm cal., blue finish, smooth wood grips, with lanyard loop. Condition is good. U.S. Navy Ship's Wall Clock, by Chelsea Clock Co., dated inside 1954 and #598748. Exterior has been re-painted and specks of paint remain on the exterior clear plastic face. Condition is very good overall. Brass inner parts appear near new; the face with some light fading. Exterior needs to be cleaned or stripped down to the original finish. After winding up the clock we found that it does work for a period of time but then stops. This is most likely due to dried old lubricant on the inner mechanism. Est.: $150-$300....more

WWII Grouping of Captain Wilbur Wiedman USNR, consisting of uniform, insignia and extensive documentation for this WWII Naval Officer whose career spanned 40 years. Documents include his midshipman graduation from Annapolis in 1917 and his retirement document from the Navy in 1957, with over 50 original documents pertaining to his command of ships during WWII in the ETO (North Africa, Italy and France). Dozens and dozens of 5x7 & 8x10 B&W photos of him and others. Walking out dress uniform and trousers for a full Captain are in excellent condition with numerous photos of Wiedman wearing it. Grouping also includes the bow flag from his last ship, streamers, wooden 1942-1944 service plaque, and ship's history with dozens of autographs of all the officers under his command. Condition is good overall. Blackened leather shows general light cracking and wear. Metal fittings with surface rust and darkening. Keeper strap is short and a portion has broken off. Stitching and seams remain tight. 2.) Japanese Type 90 Triple Barrel Flare Pistol Holster, brown leather, brass fittings, two (2) leather belt loops. Ends of shoulder strap that attach to the holster are present, including buckle. A large portion of the middle of the strap itself is missing. Condition is very good with light to moderate scuffs and scratches, including one approx. 1'' long penetration to the lid, as well as scattered darkening to the leather; stitching and seams remain tight. Sheath with substantial darkening; stitching and seams remain tight. 2.) 11-1/4'' bright blade marked ''U.S.M.C. / VILLAGE BLACKSMITH'', 16-1/2'' overall length, smooth wood grips with four brass rivets, and a 1944 dated USMC Boyt leather sheath. Leather sheath with brass throat and belt hanger. Condition is good. Blade with fine pitting and dark spotting overall. Wood grips with a few small losses, as well as other small marks from handling. Condition is very good showing moderate patination to metal surfaces. Grips and action are good; bore is very good. Top of barrel with dent; extractor is bent. (2) Sedgely MK V USN-1944 Flare Pistol, 5/8'' bore, 6'' barrel, gray finish, black plastic USN grips. Condition is fine retaining approx. 95% finish. Grips with discoloration to upper portion left side. Good action and bore. (3) International Flare Signal Pistol, #17809, 1-1/2'' bore, 8'' steel barrel, brass frame, dated July '43. This is the type most commonly found in WWII era lifeboats. Condition is very good. Barrel retains approx. 60% blue. Clear markings to brass portion; discoloration to steel trigger, hammer and latch.
