Lot of Two (2) Case (1940-1965) Hunting/Fighting Knives, with sheaths. Blades measure 5'', tang marked ''Case'', overall lengths are 9-1/8''. Full guards, one brass and the other is nickel silver. Stacked leather washer handles with colored inserts and aluminum pommels. Leather sheaths, one with basket weave pattern and snap marked ''Case Tested XX''. The second sheath is unmarked but does have the previous owner's name written on the front and back. Condition to both is excellent. Knives show overall signs of light use. Bright blades with fine micro-scratching and well-defined, clear markings. Metal surfaces with mild toning and trace amounts of verdigris are present. Handles with light scratches and scuffs. With a Kinfolks marked leather sheath. 2.) Wade & Butcher ''Teddy'' knife, 4-3/4'' blade marked ''Teddy'', tang marked ''Wade & Butcher Sheffield England'', reverse marked ''Firth's Stainless''. Overall length is 9.'' Sheath is unmarked but has the previous owners name written on the front and back. 3.) William Rodgers, 4-3/4'' blade, tang marked ''William Rodgers, I Cut My Way,'' reverse marked ''Made In Sheffield England''. Overall length is 9''. The handle still has a worn but what appears to be original William Rodgers factory sticker on it. With a leather sheath marked ''Made In England''. Condition to all is very good to excellent. Knives show overall signs of light use. Bright blades with micro scratching, carbon spotting, and minor pin prick pitting. Tang stamps are clear. Brass parts with small amounts of verdigris present. Tang marked with small, three line ''Marbles Gladstone Mich. U.S.A.,'' reverse marked ''Pat. Pend.'' Checkered thumb rest, stag pommel, stacked leather washer handle with colored and brass inserts. 2,3,4) Three (3) Marble's ''Ideal'' hunting knives. Bright blades vary from 4-3/4'' to 6''. Overall lengths range from 8-7/8'' to 9-3/4''. Two (2) tangs marked with three line ''Marbles Gladstone Mich. U.S.A.,'' reverse is unmarked. The third knife is marked with three line, right facing serif ''Marble's Gladstone Mich. U.S.A.'' Brass guards, aluminum pommels, stacked leather washer handles with colored and brass inserts. Included is a circa 1960-1970 Marbles leather sheath depicting a moose and flying geese. Condition ranges from good to very good. Bright blades show signs of use, light cleaning, carbon spotting and light to moderate pitting. Toning to brass parts, aluminum pommels with some scratches and knicks. Leather handles on the ''Ideal'' knives are very good with light overall signs of age and wear. The handle on the ''Woodcraft'' knife has areas of deterioration but remains tight. Leather scabbard with trace amounts of verdigris, oil staining, darkening, tight stitching, animal scene and lettering are well-defined and clear. Est.: $300-$400/lot....more

Condition to both is very good. Blades with light micro scratching, original edges, and clear markings. Brass guards with toning and areas of discoloration from being stored in the leather sheath. Grips and stacked washers with minimal signs of handling. The end of the ''W46-8 N'' with moderate scratching to the pommel. Leather sheaths with mild scuffs and dings. Verdigris and discoloration is present where the brass guards remained in contact with the leather. Stitching and seams are tight, snaps remain crisp. Est.: $300-$400/lot....more
