Lot of Four (4) Vintage Remington Skinning Knives, with leather sheaths: 1&@) Two (2) Remington ''R.H.405'' skinning knives. Bright curved blades are marked and measure 4-3/4'', overall lengths of 9-3/4'', wood handles, with leather sheaths. First sheath with a ''Remington UMC'' marked snap and used sharpening stone. The second sheath is unmarked but appears identical to the type offered in an accompanying advertisement that was cut from a magazine. 3.) Remington ''K4806'' skinning knife. Dimpled, curved blade measures 6-1/8'', overall length 10-5/8''. Wood handle is marked and attached by 3 brass rivets. Russet leather sheath with domed Indian head/buffalo nickel medallions. 4.) Remington ''4126'' skinning knife. Bright, curved blade measures 6'', overall length 10-1/2''. Wood handle is marked and attached by 3 brass rivets. The leather sheath is unmarked. Condition to all is very good. Bright blades with micro-scratching and overall signs of use. The blade on the ''K4806'' with toning and carbon spotting. Remington markings are well-defined on three of the four knives. Handles with light oil darkening but remain smooth and are free of any gouges or major blemishes. Three (3) of the leather sheaths with areas of staining or discoloration and tight stitching. The russet leather sheath is in excellent condition with light scratching, strong coloring, and tight stitching. Est.: $150-$250/lot....more

Lot of Four (4) Vintage Keen Kutter Tools and Knives. 1.) Rod style knife sharpener, 14-7/8'' overall length, tang is marked, with wood handle. 2.) Hacksaw, 15-1/4'' overall length, wood handle, frame is marked. 3.) ''K163'' curved blade butcher/skinning knife, 5-3/4'' blade, 10-1/8'' overall length, wood handle is marked, with three attaching brass rivets. 4.) Butcher/kitchen knife with leather sheath, 6-3/4'' blade, 11-1/2'' overall length, wood handle with inlaid ''Keen Kutter'' logo, and two brass rivets. Black leather sheath is unmarked, with nickel silver stitched rivet pattern, many with star pattern head. Conditions range from good to very good. Knife blades are used with moderate carbon spotting and light pitting. Hacksaw with approx. 15% black finish remaining. Wood handles on all items are securely affixed with varying degrees of oil staining and darkening. Keen Kutter markings are clear and well-defined. Est.: $75-$150/lot....more
