Ultra-Match M1 Semi-Automatic Rifle, #7002687, .30-06 cal., 24'' extra-heavy Match barrel, parkerized finish, glass-bedded walnut stock and triggerguard, half-minute of angle hooded adjustable rear sight, with .062 NM front blade, and leather sling. Stock and triggerguard have been armorer numbered to match with the last three digits of the serial number. Rear handguard has been routered open to accept the extra-weight barrel, with all components hand fitted to maximize accuracy. Standard M1 Garands weigh in at 9.7 lbs. - this rifle weighs 11.2 lbs. and are probably one of the most accurate M1 Garands yet to be mfg'd. Perforated metal handguard with bayonet lug and solid frame. Condition is fine retaining approx. 90%-94% original factory blue, thinning to high edges and in actioning areas, with most of the losses to the rear left portion of barrel and as thinning to the perforated handguard. Stock with light scuffs, with moderate thinning to buttplate but no real losses to speak of. Action is crisp, bore is mirror bright. Winchester Model 54 Bolt Action Rifle, #44572A, .22 Hornet cal., 24'' barrel, blue finish, checkered walnut stock, factory milled steel buttplate with widow's peak. Topped with a Weaver 29S Special scope. Mfg'd 1935. Condition is fine retaining approx. 94% original factory blue. Mounting screws to side-mount scope show 95% vivid case colors. Scope retains approx. 85% blue with thinning at rings and near objective lens. Factory front sight and hood are retained; Marbles rear buckhorn sight is correct and period, as is Redfield peep, all of which are readily accessible under the high-mounted scope. Stock shows very little use with just very minor flattening to checks (no signs of sanding or refinishing). Action is crisp, bore is bright.
