This is the famous canvas over wood Charles River model, with which many Harvard and MIT men wooed their sweethearts back in the day. This canoe is in excellent condition and has been in the same family for its whole life, almost 100 years! It was totally restored in 1998 and is in current use. The canoe includes the original passenger back rest which could elevate the wooing to woo-woo. This is a beautiful, rare, piece of art, yet still a practical and fun boat for the family.
