(1) French Croix de Guerre without ribbon. (2) USMC Sharpshooter Badges. (3) WWI Bring Back German Medals. Includes two Iron Cross 2nd Class and a black Wound Badge.

WWI US AEF Purple Heart & Insignia grouping. Named to Private 1st Class Joseph F. Helupka of the 4th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Division. (1) Purple Heart named to Helupka and numbered 20602. Split wrap brooch. Bailey, Banks, and Biddle Co. box with matching number bar. (1) WWI Victory Medal with Six Campaign Bars and box. (1) City of Greenwich, Connecticut WWI Service Medal. (1) Pair of Dog Tags named to Helupka. (1) A Company collar disc. (1) Son in Service Pin. (1) Winchester War Munitions Manufacture Service Badge, numbered 1770. (1) Artillery Shell Fragment. (4) Tunic Buttons. Joseph F. Helupka enlisted in the Army at Ft. Slocum, New York in August 1914. He served in the 15th Infantry Regiment from August 1916 to January 1918 when he was transferred to the 4th Infantry Regiment. In early April 1918. Helupka was severely wounded on October 13, 1918. After he recovered from his wounds he took part in the Occupation of Germany and then returned home In February of 1919. Helupka was honorably discharged on May 26, 1919.
