Matte stainless steel frame with ribbed front and backstrap. Checkered composite grip plates. Single action trigger with exposed hammer. Serrated push button magazine release, slide release, and thumb safety lever. Polished stainless steel slide and barrel with serrated charging handles. Adjustable U-notch rear sight and fixed front blade. Must ship to FFL holder. Condition: Good/Very good with light scratches and wear from handling and operation. The grip checkering is still strong. Description Wildey-owned Scarce U.S. made Browning BLR chambered in .308 Winchester with one removable metal magazine and a 20" barrel. This rifle is likely a early production prototype BLR contracted to TRW of Cleveland, Ohio. Most of the rifles were never meant to be sold but a small amount of them have made it to market. The right side of the barrel is marked with serial number "6K01402" and "MADE IN U.S.A PATENT PENDING". The right side of the barrel is marked "BROWNING ARMS CO. ST LOUIS MO 8 MONTREAL PQ". This rifle features a blued finish with a checkered wood forend and stock with rubber butt pad. Front fixed blade iron sight. The receiver is drilled and tapped and mounted with a Leupold Vari-x III 2.5-8 scope. Must ship to FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Good/Very good with varying scratches and contact marks on the finish and wood. A few light touches of metal oxidation on the barrel, receiver, and lever. Clean rifled bore. Both pistols are matte stainless finished with serrated front strap, backstrap, and controls. Single action trigger with manual thumb safety/de-cockers. Diamond checkered wood grips and heel magazine releases. Both have adjustable rear U-notches and fixed front blades. Description Wildey-owned cased set of two Wildey Hunter pistols each with one magazine, and 10" vented and ribbed barrels. Reportedly used by Wildey moore to hunt Cape Bu...moreffalo in Africa. One is chambered in .475 Wildey Magnum and the other is chambered in .45 Winchester Magnum. Sequential set with later applied serial numbers 60606608-AFRICA1 and 60606608-AFRICA2. Both pistols are matte stainless finished with serrated front strap, backstrap, and controls. Single action trigger with manual thumb safety/de-cockers. Diamond checkered wood grips and heel magazine releases. Both have adjustable rear U-notches and fixed front blades. Both pistols come in a black hardcase with a certificate of authenticity for each, instruction manual, two Wildey catalogues, four grip springs, cleaning rod, cleaning brush, and patch attachment. Must ship to FFL holder. Condition: Both pistols are in good/very good condition, both showing very light wear from handling and show very little use. Both do have tiny spots of metal oxidation, as well as spots of pitting or some sort of imperfections in the metal. Both bores are clean with strong rifling. Description One of the first two prototype Wildey Pistols, uniquely marked "Cold Springs, New York" Created by Bellmore Johnson Tool Co. of New Haven CT. Although not mentioned by serial, this is the 9mm Magnum is featured in "Wildey's here" chapter 11. Chambered in the scarce 9mm Winchester Magnum, with a 6" fluted top rib vented barrel. Checkered hardwood grip plates. Milled steel frame, wide trigger and hammer. Serrated slide and barrel. Magwell located magazine release. Left side of frame serrated slide release and de-cocking lever. Barrel located gas adjustment system. Rear adjustable and front fixed blade sight. Must ship to a FFL holder. Condition: Good/Very Good with light scratches, wood grips do not stay affixed, missing magazine and the action does not function properly. Rear barrel rib screw missing. Clean rifled bore.
